JUSTICE LEAGUE: Ray Fisher Shares A Photo From Yet Another Deleted Scene

You don't need us to tell you that a huge chunk of Justice League ended up on the cutting room floor but star Ray Fisher has now shared a photo from yet another sequence which never saw the light of day.

Warner Bros. decided to make Justice League less than two hours in length and that goes a long way in explaining why so much footage was cut by Joss Whedon. Among the scenes which didn't make it into the theatrical version of the DC Comics adaptation were the origin stories of both Cyborg and Aquaman and now actor Ray Fisher has shared another shot from that football game with Victor.

We obviously saw part of this in the trailers for the movie but this photo just goes to show that there would have been quite a bit to this sequence delving into Victor's past before he became Cyborg.

It looks like these shots may have been completed before being cut, though, so it's possible that they'll appear on the DVD and Blu-ray as deleted scenes. After all, it doesn't look like Warner Bros. is moving forward with a solo movie for the hero, so it's not like showing these scenes off will have an impact on the character's future! Time will tell but if Cyborg is popping up again anywhere, it will be Flashpoint.

What do you guys make of this Justice League photo? As always, let us know in the comments section.

Poor Rat Fisher... he may never appear in another DCEU movie. I don’t see how he ever gets that rumored solo after JL tanked.

I guess that’s just the #BorgLife for ya!

I don’t want anymore info on deleted scenes. We got the movie we got no directors cut can save it now and it’ll only be a tease of what we should’ve had in the theatre.

Why?

@Zugwurst - from someone who liked it.... it’s just done. Cirian Hands said he wanted it also and I thought I agreed but the more I think about this movie the more disappointed I am. Barely cracking 600 mil?? To me of the cut is good it’s almost like rubbing it in my face showing me the movie we could’ve had.

If this was in the film it would have made it the masterpiece it should have been.

It's obvious to me that the snow falling symbolises the change that the character is destined to go through. It speaks visual volumes that losing his life will be his winter but becoming Cyborg will be his spring. The rebirth so to speak.

I love how the name 'Stone' captures the nature of his being. Stones are often thought of as being inanimate objects but it is only when the group together do we get mountains. An obvious parallel to the Justice League.

Synder is a genius! He is far too smart for everyone to understand. Joss Whedon ruined Snyder's vision!

Give me the original cut so I can see more of the Einstein of Cinema's work!!!

"Snyder is a genius! he is far too smart for everyone to understand" "the Einstein of Cinema's work!!!"

*vomits a little bit*

You are the reason why the DC fanbase is so fricking toxic. It's filled to the brim with arrogant, condescending wanna-be edgy pricks. Snyder (or Whedon for that matter) isn't even in the big leagues of our times, let alone compare him ti the masters of the last century.

WB sucked the life out of JL.....can someone explain how 2hrs is enough to certify everybody.

You dont need to be a film expert to know that the runtime will not be enough for the caliber of the movie

@RasAlGhul - 2 hours is enough for any movie

@RasAlGhul - I don't know man... if a movie was bad, I wouldn't want to watch a longer version of a bad movie (not talking about JL specifically, just in general).

I think Rian Johnson got a directive from above to cut down his movie from 180 to 140 minutes as well. I'm just wondering if Kevin Tsujihara gave the 2-hour-mandate for JL quite late in the production process. They should have just been clear at the very start "we want the movie to be X minutes long" early on while they're developing the story.

Every time I hear the phrase "DCEU," I will only feel compelled to sigh. WB/DC has committed the same bone-headed mistakes the producers did with the last 2 Terminator films. They deserved what they got.

I kinda feel sorry for him.

He's actually a Shakespearean actor (no joke) and he obvious must have some talent. Imagine this being your first Hollywood film.

He's going to be the next Taylor Kitsch.

@UltimateCarnage - Since he's a Shakespearean actor, I highly doubt he'll be another Taylor Kitsch (even with just that alone). Give this man a good role and he'll kill it. I thought he was one of the best things about Justice League and I hope his Cyborg movie pans out well (mainly because I wanna see more of that upgraded suit he got near the end of Justice League, wish he had that suit for the whole movie).

On the one hand, it's actually kind of a shame that Cyborg isn't getting a solo movie, his was one of the few portrayals that wasn't offensively bad or annoying. The general lack of emotion was frustrating, but at least with him being like 90% machine it made more sense than Unnecessary Dude-Bro Aquaman or Behavioral Disorder Barry Allen, and it didn't feel like a total betrayal of the character like Tony Stark Batman or complete 180 but still oddly passive aggressive Superman.

On the other hand, it doesn't seem like Cyborg as a character ever really found his place as a big-name solo hero even in the comics, and after this whole fiasco, would we really trust the FILM division to finally give us something worthwhile?

Cyborg was just a little too emo. Other than that, he was pretty good. Not clamoring for a solo film, but he did a good job.

Does anyone believe Warner Bros are having these actors leak these scenes and photos to gauge how a directors cut would do?

Visual proof that he was forced to be Cyborg at gunpoint...
