During a recent roundtable interview, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League star Amy Adams said that the DC Universe is being revamped and pointed out that she's more than likely no longer part of this shared world as a result.
Now, Adams has attempted to clarify those remarks by noting that while her future is uncertain, she doesn't know what Warner Bros. has planned for Lois Lane, Superman, or any other DC Comics characters for that matter. "You know what's funny? I actually don't know," she said.
"I haven't had any official conversation with anybody. I was just talking with Nicole Kidman about it, and I was like, 'Oh, I guess I've got to be careful what I say!' But yeah, I haven't had any word officially."
For months now, rumours have been swirling about what comes next for both Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill in the DCEU and all the signs are sadly pointing to them no longer playing Batman and Superman. After the critical pounding the last couple of movies they starred in received, it's easy to see why they might want to move on at this point in their respective careers.
