What I Liked

✔Art was pretty decent

✔Introduced the JL to the Doom Patrol

✔Good character development with the Chief

✔Revealed some stuff about Power Ring

What I Didn’t Like

✘Barely any Justice League

✘Nothing much really happened other than bits of character development

✘Lots of pointless action and fighting

✘ The Chief is annoying

Themes:

The main theme that stuck out to me was learning to follow through with doing the right thing instead of giving in to peer pressure.

Chief has convinced the Doom Patrol to follow his every command, even when it forces them to compromise on doing the right thing, like when he made them choose between pursuing Power Ring instead of rescuing people in a burning building.

The Doom Patrol knew they should save those people, but they chose to listen to Chief instead. Doing the right thing is never easy, and there will always be peer pressure trying to force us to blindly play “follow the leader,” but we must stand strong and do the right, moral thing, even if it means losing friendships in the process.

Overall: 7 out of 10
