WONDER WOMAN Star Connie Nielsen Talks The Snyder Cut Of JUSTICE LEAGUE And Her Favorite Stunt Being Cut

Justice League star Connie Nielsen has weighed in on the Snyder Cut of the film, and reveals who directed her scenes and her frustrations about one moment, in particular, not ultimately being included!

In the Snyder Cut of Justice League, we would have seen a lot more of the epic battle between the humans, Amazons, and Atlanteans as they took on Darkseid and Steppenwolf's forces. The theatrical version of the film only briefly featured that, along with a sequence set on Themyscira which saw the latter villain steal a Mother Box from Hippolyta and company.

During an interview with Coming Soon, actress Connie Nielson was asked about whether her scenes in Joss Whedon's version of the movie were cut when the filmmaker took over from Zack Snyder.

"My absolute favorite stunt was cut from the film, and I’m having a hard time accepting that, it was so cool," she admitted, confirming that all her scenes were directed by Snyder. "I got to run up a wall and pivot in the air, and as I pivoted on my way down I speared one of the monsters. I literally did that for weeks to get that, and then they didn’t put it in."

"They took it out, they put it in, they took it out...It’s my great regret because I love stunts, I love being a badass in a film like that, and then sorry that the audience didn’t get to see that part of the cool Amazon fighting techniques, because they were very cool!," the actress concluded.

We can now add another crime to the list Whedon committed when he took over this DC Comics movie, as being robbed of a badass scene like this really is unbelievable. The director likely had his reasons, but with both the scene on Themyscira and the battle narrated by Wonder Woman so trimmed down, there was really no excuse for this!

Man I tell you what. WB would make a ton of money if they would release the Snyder cut to home release during these troubling times.

That would have been cool to see. Who knows, maybe some day down the line we will. I'm starting to think there's no way his rough cut won't leak eventually.

This site really has it out for Whedon for some reason. The guy was ordered to cut the film down to less than 2 hours and y'all are acting like he came in and just decided to cut all of Snyder's work just for the sake of it. Pathetic.

@obredaan - It's weird how some people act like Snyder didn't do anything wrong creatively and that the guy that brought us The Avengers is the one that messed up JL. Yeah, okay.

Evidence that they should have let Snyder do the movie he wanted to do, and evidence that he was making a really good movie!

@kirbyfan - You must have liked BvS... and MOS... Both fireable offenses imo.
