JUSTICE LEAGUE Blu-ray Steelbook Cover Art Revealed; Plus We May Have A Possible Release Date

It appears as though the Steelbook cover for the upcoming Blu-ray release of Justice League has been revealed and we may also have a potential release date, although there's no mention of a director's cut.

Thanks to an early listing on Amazon India, we may have just received our first look at the Steelbook cover art for the upcoming Blu-ray release of Zack Snyder's Justice League and just like the recent reissues of Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it will also feature exclusive artwork by DC Comics' Jim Lee.

On another note, Best Buy's website lists Tuesday, March 13, 2018 as the film's home video release date, and while, the date remains unconfirmed, it more or less lines up with Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's typical release pattern, which tends to be four months after a film's theatrical launch.

An official press release is likely on the way with the standard edition cover art and details on the special features and technical specifications, but at the moment, with the information we have, it really doesn't seem as though an Extended (or Ultimate) Cut of the divisive film is in the cards, although that's subject to change.

Check out the Steelbook cover below:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League features:
Directors: Zack Snyder & Joss Whedon

If there was an animated version of this Justice League movie and I mean shot for shot and same dialogue and everything. Do you guys think it would be given a pass or would it receive the same scrutiny?

@TheBlueMorpho - Superman's dialogue would have felt at home in an animated film....set in the 70's.

@TheBlueMorpho - Depends. Would it follow an animated BvS that's otherwise exactly the same as well? Would they purposefully draw Superman's face in a weird way in the majority of scenes? Would they have also spent $300+ million on it?

@Kyos -

1. Yes followed an animated BvS that was exactly the same.
2. No to the face.
3. No on the $300 million budget but still top notch animation
