JUSTICE LEAGUE: Official LEGO Set Images Feature Steppenwolf, Atlantis And Possible Plot Details

We all know how unreliable toys are but they more often than not reveal at least something about the movies they're based on. Today, we have a look at three Justice League LEGO sets which show off what may or may not be a number of key scenes from the highly anticipated release. Parademons attacking Atlantis while on the hunt for a Mother Box certainly makes sense and explains why Aquaman would join the team. Steppenwolf meanwhile looks particularly gigantic and menacing in that first LEGO set!

Of course, you'll remember that toys for Wonder Woman showed an Ares who looked vastly different to the final form David Thewlis took on in the movie, so we may want to wait and see on that front.

The same applies to the Parademons. There are a number of variations here and it's not instantly apparent whether that's just for the purpose of selling toys or because we'll see a variety of them in Justice League. Either way, these LEGO sets all look very cool and go on sale from August onwards.

What do you think about these Justice League LEGO sets? Share your thoughts in the usual place!

@ogwhit - Holy moly mother of god... I actually think I'm okay with seeing SOMEthing related to Superman in the next trailer. Just so we can start getting some promotional material like this!

@ogwhit - That...is...sexified.
Reminds me of a special edition comic book cover, when you fold the other half out to reveal the villains.

Woah Josh, what about the possible plot detail of everyone having giant laser guns?

Flash, Parademons, and Atlantean Guards.
Man I think you should do another article on that. These Lego articles for plot clues are awesome.

@RevanOfKrypton -
Nope. The minfigures are usually accurate. Given that the movie action figure looked exactly like the minifigure, it would was obviously changed in the actual movie.

@Darkknight2149 - much as I liked Ares and his characterization and the use of the scraps of metal and debris from the destruction around him..... this looked way too iconic and awesome. I really want to know where/why the change was implemented.

Man, kids these days will never know the struggle.

Back in the day I had to slap together my own ghetto Justice League and Avengers minifigures.

Now you can just grab a set right off the shelf!

Smh... XD

@CinemaHero -

I like to tell my kids about the time before the Internet and when I would wait all week for something like Terminator 2 to come on the TV

@CinemaHero - My brother and I would even go as far as to, dare I say it, paint over face shields, heads, and anything else to make it as accurate as possible. Now there are awesome, comic book accurate minifigues, and all that Lego destruction and mutilation was in vain.

Your comment got me right in the feels.
