Following the Man of Steel's demise in
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the prevailing theory was that when the hero returned in
Justice League, he would wear his black suit from the comics.
Well, that didn't happen, but there was a blink and you'd miss it Easter Egg showing Clark Kent walking past the suit in the Kryptonian ship. Now, though, Zack Snyder has taken to Vero to share a photo of "My Superman." As you can see, Henry Cavill is shown decked out in that classic black outfit from the comics.
While you might think this is from
Man of Steel, Snyder seemingly confirmed that it was from
Justice League when he said in the comments,
"let's put it this way, in Zack Snyder's Justice League, he will have a black suit" (the use of "will" there is particularly interesting). The filmmaker would also go on to say that the returning Superman was going to don that black suit in the ship.
Snyder clearly isn't going to stop sharing images like these, and that will continue to add fuel to the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut fire. Whether Warner Bros. will listen is another matter, of course!
