Zack Snyder Actually SPOILED JUSTICE LEAGUE's After-Credits Scene Over A Year Ago

Justice League features two very cool after-credits scenes but it turns out that director Zack Snyder actually revealed details about one of them well over a year ago. Hit the jump to find out more...

Last September, Zack Snyder shared a behind the scenes photo from the set of Justice League which fans wasted no time poring over. As you may recall, a closer look at the tablet the filmmaker was working on revealed what appeared to be a scene between Deathstroke and Lex Luthor, something many fans believed would probably set up the events of The Batman. Well, that ultimately wasn't the case and we've since learned that this was an after-credits scene teasing the Injustice League.

When and where they'll show up remains as up in the air as the fate of the rest of the DC Films Universe but at least we now know that Snyder was responsible for arguably the better stinger.

The question is, did Lex Luthor once have a much larger role in Justice League? After all, we never got to see him interact with Steppenwolf despite the fact that he was the one who brought the alien to Earth and we're left to just assume that it was Slade Wilson who broke him out of Arkham Asylum!

Deathstroke was supposed to be the main villain in The Batman but plans have changed and it's thought that he'll get a solo movie instead. Whether that will make reference to Justice League remains to be seen but feel free to share your thoughts and theories in the comments section down below.

@BlackHulk - Real talk, leaving the site soon cause JL sure ain't doing 900 Million let alone a billion ?

@MCUForever - it will make a chunk of that figure before WB releases the "real" version in theaters about 2-3 months from now which will be the version that everyone initially wanted. Pretty cheesy strategy but it's what helped BvS get close to $900 mil despite it being as bad as it was.

@BlackHulk - Nice Back-track, almost as smooth as Superman's facial CGI.

I liked both after credit scenes but the Flash/Superman race could have been put at the end of JL with some music in the background kinda like the ending to Rocky 3 right before the credits start to roll and the origin Green Lantern mid credit scene could have been kept. But that is all but a dream. Seems like WB is set on sabotaging it's own gold mine.

I would’ve loved to seen Zack’s Justice League movie. The one where the first movie was broken up in 2 parts.

@superbigguy32 - There was so much that was cut from his original version. I mean come on....they even teased the Black Suited Superman. Then all of a sudden it's...gone? Same thing in regards to the Deathstroke screen test footage. Cyborg flying into the midnight sky, Flash being more flamboyant with his skills. etc

@TheRationalNerd - That’s exactly what I’m saying. I want to see all of that, and who Alfred was talking too! I believe there was so many missed opportunities in Zack’s version of the movie. Because it should’ve been a 2 parter. I wanted to see The Eradicator, Steel, Superboy, and Cyborg Superman...they could’ve put that in the film as well, like an Easter egg.

That's not the only thing he spoiled i am afraid.

If CBM's were all about visual effects and cinematography, Snyder would have been the ruler of this genre.
