Zack Snyder Says SUPERMAN Plays A Big Part In JUSTICE LEAGUE

Given the final events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it should come as no surprise that Henry Cavill's Superman has been absent from Justice League marketing, but Zack Snyder says not to worry.

The first group shot of Batman,Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg in Zack Snyder's Justice League should be enough to satisfy most fans of the DCEU as the countdown towards the November release of the film marches on.  But the trully diehard, satisfaction won't be achieved until Superman (and Green Lantern) are assembled with the other heroes as well.

 New quotes from director Zack Snyder would seemingly indicate that such a scene will occur...or will it?  In the latest print edition of Empire, Snyder states,   “Superman does play a big part in this movie. His presence, and lack of presence, are big story points…

That's certainly a cryptic tease.  Will the Justice League lack the firepower to ward of Steppenwolf and the forces of Apokolips without the Man of Steel?  Or will we find a black suit Kal-el, brainwashed and in league with the "Fourth World" invaders?  Let us know your theories and beliefs below.

Justice League opens in theaters on November 17, 2017.

Through bad directing we already know he's back in Justice League, good directing would have had the rocks move and fall off the coffin leaving ambiguity while also hinting he could return. Having the rocks float flat-out confirms he'd return. Only question now is why he was clearly alive enough to randomly levitate rock's but dead enough so that he would'nt return for a few years in the movie's timeline.

As for his death, it was neither meaningful or impactful enough to have a large effect on Wonder Woman or Batman. Perhaps a few random citizens, but they were still divided as to whether they trusted him at the time he died.

@Scarilian - we knew he would come back anyway considering the death of storyline is 20 years old... even if it was ambiguous it wouldn't have mattered. Did you get upset when it was revealed Bucky was winter soldier, or that Ozymandias killed Comedian lol

@Ha1frican -

The Death Of Superman is only remembered for the Death Of Superman, and many are only familiar with the title. The idea of films is to portray the story to a new audience, as such spoiling the story is one of the dumbest things that a director can do.

As for your comments about the twists, while i was aware of Bucky as the Winter Soldier and admittedly they did spoil this in a few teasers/clips. This was the fault of marketing as the film similar to Watchmen, does not reveal The Winter Soldier's identity until later in the movie.

I was not however aware of Watchmen and was lucky enough that the trailers i saw did not spoil the Ozymandias twist. The film itself is structured in a way to avoid revealing the twist as long as possible because the film is intended to appeal to more than just those who read the comic.

@Ha1frican -

Trailer 1; He stands there doing nothing
Trailer 2; He picks up a rail and hits someone with it

Yeah... No. Neither spoil the ending twist of him being the villain.
