The highly-anticipated second volume of Mark Millar's Kick-Ass comic book series was recently teased in the pages of his new publishing venture, CLiNT, and now the cover to the exclusive Ultimate Comics/Forbidden Planet retailer variant of the first issue is online. The cover art is by Tommy Lee Edwards, who last collaborated with Millar on 1985.

it does look like Hit Girl's movie costume. hopefully they don't make the comic books more like the movie. i enjoyed them both a seperate entities. the comic was dark and the movie was as if the comic had a baby with superbad. both were great, but very different.

if you haven't read the comics, pick 'emup to see the drastic differences. you'll be suprised at a couple parts

Not at all. Hitgirl's costume is totally different in the movie. In the movie Hitgirl has plaid skirt. And in the movie, the interior of her cape was not red. also, it didnt look like hitgirl was wearing goggles in the movie either. This outfit is a more mature looking one, or at least shes drawn looking more mature. Has it been awhile since youve watched the movie?
