Concept Art, Story Details, And Title Revealed For KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE Sequel

Matthew Vaughn talks about returning for the Kingsman sequel, revealing the title, plot details (including info on the American Statesman and Julianne Moore's villain) and some awesome concept art.

Empire Magazine reveals that the Kingsman sequel will be titled Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and with that comes the first official concept art from the movie. Below, we see destroyed Kingsman HQ, the Statesman HQ (which is the American version of the spy organisation), and Poppyland, the secret lair of lead villain Poppy (played by Julianne Moore). It's after that attack that Eggsy and Merlin head to the US, an organisation led by a "swaggering, sharpshooting cowboy" called Jack and Halle Berry's Ginger.

Asked about his plans for The Golden Circle, director Matthew Vaughn said: "I didn't know if I wanted to direct this or not. I was worried about the villain. Spy films are only as good as their villains. Then one morning I woke up with the whole storyline in place, and a new villain plot." As for whether he intends to try and recreate that awesome church sequence from The Secret Service, he added, "You try not to read what people want, but they do want another church sequence. I have no reason for another massacre to happen. But I have other sequences you've never seen before." That will apparently include a skiing sequence, a barroom brawl, robot dogs, one-armed henchmen, and the heroes being attacked by what Vaughn calls, "a massive f***ing frankfurter." Awesome...

I don't know if I agree with spy films are only as good as their villains. There's a lot of what I would consider great spy films that I couldn't even tell you the villain's name and some I couldn't even name the actor who played the villain.

BRING. IT. ON.

R.I.P. Harry Hart. Idk, Colin Firth was one of the main reasons this film was so badass. Egerton is great but, Firth is gold. Hope the sequel is great without him

One of the most underrated comic book films of last year.

@ComicsBornAndBred - Yup, without Colin Firth it will be tough to re-cature the magic. Also, the shock value won't be as easy to re-capture for two reasons, #1 it won't be unexpected #2 it is tough to top what happened in the first one in terms of sheer chaos.

@aboynamedblue - completely agree. Although, Vaughn sounds like he's got some crazy new ideas to shock and surprise us so I'm game. He's a talented director.

He NEVER does sequels so we should take the fact that he is, for the first time ever, as evidence that he's got something special.

@ComicsBornAndBred - Real shit bro, btw the last vid you did was hella good.

And god those action scenes were stylishly brutal! [frick]ing love this movie.

I thought I read somewhere where Vaughn was talking about trying to bring Colin back for the sequel. Which considering how great he was, I'm all in for.

@JSamueliaml8 - I think he did mention that. I'm down for that too. If it's done well.

BEST COMICBOOK MOVIE OF 2015, by far imo. Loved every minutes of it.

I'm really hype for the sequel since it has my man, Matthew Vaughn coming back as the director.
