"Welcome to the Multiverse Saga"
Marvel Studios tore the roof off Hall H last night, providing us with some much-needed clarification regarding their upcoming slate and officially announcing The Multiverse Saga.
To kick things off, Kevin Feige surprised everyone by revealing that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever would end Phase Four and that Phase Five would begin next year with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. He then proceeded to give a full overview of their 2023/2024 slate, before announcing that it would end with Thunderbolts in July 2024.
We're then moving into Phase Six with Fantastic Four in November 2024, and while there's still much to be revealed, including details on several films and Disney+ shows, he went ahead and announced that a pair of Avengers films, The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars, are both coming in 2025!
Click on the NEXT button to get all the details on what's to come in Phase 5, Phase 6... and Phase 7?!

Untitled MARVEL STUDIOS Film (February 16, 2024)
Kevin Feige curiously chose not to reveal this title, so we'll have to likely wait until the D23 Expo to learn more about this one, but there's reason to believe it could be Ryan Reynolds' long-awaited
Deadpool 3, especially since the original film also launched over Valentine's Day weekend.

PHASE 5 ENDS - THUNDERBOLTS (July 26, 2024)
While it's no Avengers, Thunderbolts should still be a pretty massive team-up event and will bring Phase 5 to a close.

Writer: Eric Pearson
Cast (TBD): Daniel Brühl as Baron Helmut Zemo, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost, Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, and/or Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier.
Release Date: July 26, 2024
PHASE 6 BEGINS - FANTASTIC FOUR (November 8, 2024)
Not much is known about Marvel Studios' Fantastic Four reboot, and it's currently without a director as Jon Watts recently bowed out of the project. No writer has been announced either.
John Krasinski played Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but it's unclear whether he'll reprise the role here or if Kevin Feige is planning on going in a different direction.
Release Date: November 8, 2024
Untitled MARVEL STUDIOS Film (February 14, 2025)
Marvel Studios dated this film last night, and while we don't know anything, there are a number of projects that could slot in right here. We'd also be due for a Shang-Chi or Eternals sequel in 2025, so it could be either of those.
Release Date: February 14, 2025
AVENGERS: THE KANG DYNASTY (May 2, 2025)
Kang is coming and Earth's Mightiest Heroes are going to have their hands full in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which may ultimately end with a cliffhanger, with its follow-up arriving at the tail end of the year.
No director has been announced, and the Russos aren't involved, but we should still expect a familiar name to land the job.
Release Date: May 2, 2025
Untitled MARVEL STUDIOS Film (July 25, 2025)
Marvel Studios dated another mystery film to fill in the gap between The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. As for what it could be, that's anyone's guess, but it'll certainly tie into the later, and we'd be willing to wager that it'll introduce a few characters that could prove to be absolutely vital during Secret Wars. X-Men, anyone?
Release Date: July 25, 2025
PHASE 6 ENDS - AVENGERS: SECRET WARS (November 7, 2025)
At long last, here we are. Marvel Studios has finally announced the long-rumored Avengers: Secret Wars, which will cap off Phase 6 and presumably the entire Multiverse Saga.
It's uncertain whether the same director will tackle both The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars, but considering their close proximity, we wouldn't be surprised if two different directors are hired to handle the massive endeavor. It's still super early, and there is a possibility the latter could get pushed back or split into two parts, but that's a problem for future Kevin Feige.
Secret Wars should be the most epic adventure of them all and anyone and everyone is fair game. Could we see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spider-Men? Hugh Jackman as Wolverine? Jessica Alba as Sue Storm? Wesley Snipes as Blade? Ben Affleck as Daredevil? Literally, anything is possible!
Release Date: November 7, 2025
PHASE 7 BEGINS...? - Untitled MARVEL STUDIOS Film (February 13, 2026)
Marvel Studios also dated four new films for 2026, which will all presumably be part of Phase 7.
However, before we discuss them, it should be noted that Spider-Man 4 will likely be part of Phase 5, and we may even get Spider-Man 5 in Phase 6, so there's still a lot we don't know about their plans before the two Avengers titles. With Disney booking these dates, expect Sony Pictures to follow suit and announce the next Tom Holland-fronted Spidey adventure before the end of the year.
Untitled MARVEL STUDIOS Film (May 1, 2026)
Another untitled film that we know nothing about, but with that prime May release date, we'd imagine this is a big one. Ideally, it's something X-Men related, but could this be that rumored
Scarlet Witch solo project?
Untitled MARVEL STUDIOS Film (July 24, 2026)
We'll likely see Thor (Chris Hemsworth) again in one of the two, if not both of the
Avengers films, but this sounds like a pretty solid date for
Thor 5, which would be able to usher in a brand new era for everyone's favorite God of Thunder.
Untitled MARVEL STUDIOS Film (November 6, 2026)
There's still a lot of Marvel Studios TV content that hasn't been announced, so expect a lot of gaps to be filled on September 8 during Disney+ Day or during the D23 Expo the following day. That presentation should be even bigger than last night's as Kevin Feige shares actual information on the filmmakers and actors involved with the many projects they've announced this year.
