Time for the CBM Users to rank the MCU movies 1 through 16

After the recent release of Spider-Man:Homecoming, and the next MCU movie being moths away, it's time for the MCU to be ranked by the CMB users.

It's hard to believe but it's been 9 years since the release of the original Iron Man, and since then the MCU has gone to change the landscape of comic book movies and blockbusters in general. From Captain America to Ant-Man to the Guardians of the Galaxy the MCU has covered various genres and themes. This difference has allowed for movies that appeal to many different tastes. Ive spent hours ranking them on my own tastes, but now it's time for the CBM community to rank them.

My Method-All you have to do is rank the movies 1 through 16 down below. From there I'll take each placement as the film's score and add up all the point for each film and rank them.

For Example if you rank a film  eighth place that's 8 points. And in the end the movie with the least point get first place, second most points second place, and so on. So try to avoid any ties as that will mess up the ranking. If there are any ties the film with the higher Rotten Tomatoes score will win. Feel free to give an explanation for your voting. I'll rank them below but if you wanna skip that go ahead and rank below.

Here's my ranking- Keep in mind I find none these films bad, they are all enjoyable and will to rewatch them all from time to time.

15.Thor
14.The Incredible Hulk

@ALostCause - dude, how on earth is Guardians vol 2 the worst MCU film? 😳

@ALF9001 - It's the only mcu movie where I didn't enjoy myself while watching.

I cringed at a lot of the humor and drama, the cool effects and upbeat tone didn't make up for that unfortunately :/

I too would like to offer praise for IM3. I enjoyed it and frankly I am still mystified that anyone would feel all that irked over how they dealt with the Mandarin.

@JDL - Ahhh but you are missing the point here. The Mandarin twist is only one of MANY reasons why IM 3 is not a good MCU movie. When I watched it I was already halfway checked by the time they got to the twist. All the other stuff....that Starks home was in no way protected at all. That they brought a kid into the plot (when they have to do that you know there is a problem), Super Pepper (dumb as a second coat of paint), armor that was constantly falling apart at the drop of a hat yet other armors had held up to Thor's hammer, and the fact that as the plot rolled on that it was The Incredibles(at least as far as Syndrome goes). Then there was the it's the suit or the man thing which was pretty much already adressed in IM 1 and 2 anyway. We just weren't hit over the head with it like we were in IM3. So anyway yes I had already given the movie a partial thumbs down before we ever even got to the twist.

@monsterswin - 1) Starks home was in no way protected at all.
And shouldn't have been. If it had been it would have been too prescient. Tony shot his mouth off and paid a price.

2) That they brought a kid into the plot,
That did not bother me at all. Especially since it was an X-Mas film.

3) Super Pepper,

That did not bother me. Actually I rather liked it. YMMV.

4) armor that was constantly falling apart at the drop of a hat yet other armors had held up to Thor's hammer,

I would have to go back and re-watch but I suspect you have a valid point. Its just not one that was obvious to me and didn't bother me.

5) and the fact that as the plot rolled on that it was The Incredibles (at least as far as Syndrome goes).

You lost me there.

6) Then there was the it's the suit or the man thing which was pretty much already addressed in IM 1 and 2 anyway.*

Again, didn't bother me, but YMMV.

You criticisms at least make a modicum of sense. And while I may or may not agree with them all look to be based in a reasonable, non-emo pov.
Thanks for the reply.

1. The Avengers
There will never be another moment like this for fans again. And just on a story level, Joss Whedon saved several characters here. Plus, this film's success has effectively changed the way Hollywood makes movies now. Everyone wants a shared universe.

By coincidence, I only recently decided to overhaul my MCU-ranking. But it is really tough. The only really firm place is no. 1 with Guardians of the Galaxy. places 2 to 5 are more or less interchangeable, as are places 7 to 10.

1) Guardians of the Galaxy
2) Captain America - The Winter Soldier
3) Ant-Man
4) Spider Man – Homecoming
5) Avengers - Age of Ultron
6) The Avengers
7) Captain America – Civil War
8) Iron Man 3
9) Doctor Strange
10) GotG 2
11) Thor - The Dark World
12) Iron Man 2
13) Iron Man
14) Thor
15) Captain America
