So with Halloween fast approaching, some of you may be scrambling to come up with a costume idea. You may want to do something creative, or maybe you're just feeling lazy and you want to come up with something slightly different then those standard issue costumes you find in any particular Halloween shop. Well, lucky for you we have some ideas for you to toss around in the old noodle. We here at SuperHeroStuff.Com don't want to leave you high and dry, you know? We're looking out for you, and your vastly untapped creative impulse!
Probably the first idea that comes to mind when we talk about alternative and costumes that require just the very slightest bit of effort is the split costume of Clark Kent and Superman! This costume idea is fairly simple, but plays on some iconic imagery. All you have to do is wear a business suit and some glasses, and wear one of our Superman symbol shirts undernearth! BAM! You've ready to pull that shirt open and snap to it! How else do you think Superman saved that kid at Niagara Falls while with Lois Lane without her noticing? He may be fast, but he can’t change that quick. It’s more like just tearing off that suit and taking to the skies! You’ll have the ability to walk around parties humming the Superman theme song without prejudice AND you’ll be able to walk into public places without them even knowing you’re in a costume. That’s what I call functionality! Of course if you are a woman and want a super related costume, you can get the same symbol and just wear a blue mini skirt! That certainly makes things easy, doesn’t it?
If you have a mean streak in you, or perhaps an overdeveloped sense of revenge, then perhaps this next idea is for you. The Punisher never really had a flashy costume like his compatriots, but that white skull look is easily reproduced these days. Just get any one of our Punisher shirts and combine with military pants, some boots, and some kind of gun! Fake guns if you’re in public or with people who don’t know how crazy you are, and a real one if you’re an absolute nutter and don’t particularly care about your friends. What are you doing mixing real firearms in a costume? I don’t know if that’s dedication or maladjustment!
Now if you, for some strange reason, enjoyed the Fantastic 4 movie or maybe you’re a fan from way back you could try on one of our Fantastic 4 symbol shirts. All you really need is a lot of blue. A LOT OF BLUE…and this shirt….and maybe Jessica Alba. That last part may be a bit hard to come by, but I don’t want to under estimate your resourcefulness. If you do manage to scare that woman up send her over my way in that angel getup she had in “Idle Hands” if you would be so kind.
