Mark Millar Offers A Brief Update On NEMESIS
Scottish comic book writer Mark Millar is currently over in Los Angeles to meet with various studio bigwigs about some of the planned adaptations of his work, and it sounds as if Nemesis (pencilled by Steve McNiven) may finally be getting closer to becoming a reality.
If the following comments taken from Mark Millar's Twitter account are anything to by, it looks like work is finally moving ahead on the big screen adaptation of Nemesis. According to the prolific writer, he's been in meetings with Fox all week about the film (Tony Scott was at one point attached to direct, although Joe Carnahan's name has since been thrown around) and this is hopefully a sign that the studio are now making an effort to adapt the Millar/McNiven series. He's also meeting with Mark Hamill, so hopefully that means we'll see him make an appearance in Matthew Vaughn's planned adaptation of The Secret Service. No word on the current status of Superior and Supercrooks...
