VIDEO GAMES: Info On The Harley Quinn Story DLC Revealed For BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT

We are about at least 2 months and a couple of weeks away from Rocksteady's conclusion to their video game Batman trilogy in Batman: Arkham Knight. When the game was announced, not only would you play as Batman and drive the Batmobile but DLC that you could play as Harley Quinn was announced that you can get as long as you pre-order the game. The location of where you pre-order doesn't matter, although I'd recommend Gamestop only because along with the Harley Quinn Story DLC you get Jason Todd Red Hood Story DLC. Thanks to Amazon, we finally know what exatcly will be the story behind the Harley Quinn DLC. It goes as followed.

For the first time in the Arkham series take on the role of Joker’s psychotic side-kick Harley Quinn and wreak havoc inside the Blüdhaven Police Department. With this exclusive Story Pack experience events in the lead-up to Arkham Knight as you infiltrate Blüdhaven to rescue your partner in crime: Poison Ivy. Delve deep into Harley’s demented nature and utilize her devastating baseball bat to smash, crash and bash your way to a friend very much in need.

So for the first time in Rocksteady's Batman games, you won't be in Gotham. It's also important because Blüdhaven is the city in which in the comics, Nightwing AKA Dick Grayson protects and he is even a member of the Blüdhaven Police Department. Perhaps Nightwing could show up and you would have to fight against him as Harley Quinn with possibly Poison Ivy by your side. The DLC will also contain 4 Challenge Maps. Should be interesting but frankly, I'm more interested in the Red Hood DLC but still all good. What are your thoughts? Comment below, let me know. Peace and remember...

In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever. Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady's uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City. Be The Batman.

sounds pretty cool! really curious to see what Rocksteady does after Arkham Knight... Superman, Flash, Justice league or another DC property? The rumored Ninja Turtles game? A completely new title?

Sounds cool, I don't really play video games much anymore but wish I had an Xbox One just for this game. Harley's DLC pack sounds cool but I'm more interested in the Red Hood pack too. When Arkham City came out they re-released all the preorder bonuses later on the Xbox and Sony stores, so Red Hood and Harley will probably be available for people who didn't preorder.

Spoiler if you haven't beaten Arkham Origins and seen the end-credits scene...

Hopefully, WB/Montreal is working on a Suicide Squad game where you play as Deathstroke and your assignment is to find and apprehend members of the Suicide Squad for Waller. Even if they're different portrayals of the characters, it'd be great for promoting/advertising if the Suicide Squad game's release date coincides with the SS movie's release date.

Forgot about Montreal and their potential Suicide Squad. But truth be told that's a big if because while it has potential but it may never see the light of day or it may not be so great.Unlike Arkham and Injustice with are award winning games and appreciated for being fun games.

I thought Arkham Origins was pretty great. Sure it had it's issues and was obviously a copy-cat of previous Arkham games, but it didn't attempt to be something it wasn't. I definitely enjoyed it and there was enough changes it felt new/different, but it still felt familiar like the other Arkham games. Besides if it ain't broke, why fix it?? Even Rocksteady approved and praised it, they didn't attempt to distance themselves from it.

I'd compare Arkham Origins to Assassin's Creed Rogue. Both didn't get the same promotion or exposure as other titles, but for what they were, they're pretty great games. Both had some issues and incorporated some recycled/reused elements from previous titles, but they weren't lazy, copycats. There was enough new/different aspects of the games that made them worth playing.

If you're interested, Kotaku had solid reviews of both. It was actually their reviews that enticed me to play both.

Actually I played and enjoyed both Rogue and Origin.I'm not saying WB Montreal Suicide Squad game would be bad just that a lot of people gave them flak over their short comings on Origin, rather then appreciate what they try to do and/or did right.Even Injustice got flak over the addition of Scorpion and that Batman had more characters in the game then anyone else.I guess what I'm saying is that negative backlash these studios get from the fans could halt the production and/or development of future games titles.
