Frank Quitely still draws the most ugly and unfavourable looking characters in comics!

Nice callback to Cassady's first Astonishing cover, although, what's with Logan's new suit? Eyeholes instead of white lenses? ick... Also the only other changes seem to be the gloves and boots and belt... why alter it at all if it's going to be so minor?

Cassady is an awesome interior artist. I admit I first hated Quitely's art with New X-Men, but it grew on me with All Star Superman. You eventually learn to like the chubby faces and Jay Leno chins.

Quitely is just a great artist. I understand why he doesn't tickle the taste buds of everyone, but my word! The man can flat out draw some stuff. The realism he brings to human form are the best part of it. His characters don't look stylized. They look like they have joints that actually move and can only do certain things.

The chick in Cassady's is Warbird. Alien warrior. His cover isn't bad either.

Quitley may not be photo-realistic like Alex Ross, but I still really like his art. His characters are always realistically posed (one place I do like realism in comics is in the art- I don't like characters that are contorted in ways the human anatomy was never meant to be contorted or that are violating basic laws of physics), and he has an excellect storytelling style. I'll grant that his style is a little quirky, but in a good way. I really enjoyed his run on X-Men.

Cassady is another of the best artists around today. but I don't like eyeholes instead of white lenses on Wolverine. His whole costume just looks off- is that some new thing he's doing? He looks like an old '70s masked wrestler.

Not my favorite drawing of his, but you're really missing the boat if you think Frank Quitely is a horrible artist. He's one of the best all-time.

What happened to the Good Ol' Days of McFarlane, Jim Lee, Silvestri, Valentino, Portacio, Erik Larson, Simon Bisely, Tony Daniels, Alex Ross, etc.

No Liefeld, though. lol

That Batman looks more like Grayson than Bruce.

That is Quite Frankly one of the best Batman and Robin illustrations of all time.

No disrespect to anyone who likes them but BOTH artists have crap styles to me. Can't stand it, Astonishing X-Men is the X-book that does not fit, look at that roster! Also how is Wolverine running this team, X-Force, his school, his solo stuff, AND...however many Avenger team's he's currently on...at the same time? They have whored him out to where there is no feasible contuinity with him, end this book asap...my two cents, /rantoff

I think we're all missing the bigger issue here:

GOATBOY? *sigh* Get Grant Morrison the f*ck away from Batman.
