Leadfoot and his fellow Wreckers, Roadbuster and Topspin, first appeared in live-action format for Michael Bay's 2011 feature film, Transformers: Dark of the Moon. In that film, Leadfoot worked with Ironhide to create weapons for the Autobots.

Now that Shia LaDouche is out i hope they can bring on a good sequel for once. The first movie was cool. 2nd and 3rd crap.

Well I am glad Shia is gone he was just really annoying in the movies with his constant shrilling and screaming. We got Mark Walberg and we know they will try to force the comedy like all the other movies but Walberg actually has good comedic timing and can be very funny so I expect him to do a lot better.

They will have to retcon the shit out of Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave since all three died in the 3rd movie and there is no more Allspark for reviving anyone.

Oh and Shockwave died too can't forget that even though the movie barely went over his death.

They were cool enough with what little they showed us in the movie because unless you were Optimus Prime or Bumblebee you were lucky to get 2 mins of screen time the entire film.

Also their comicbook counterparts are pretty awesome being the Autobots black ops commando squad. They are the bots you call in if you need a job done usually with lots of dead cons so these three have a lot to live up to.

I'm sorry, but if this is a new start or telling of story for Transformers, I'd like to see some differences in the Autobot and Decepticon designs..

This looks like the same shit, and that tells me it'll be the same shit.

The potential for these was monumental.

The first was all I really like, while the rest were literally just eye candy, and I like Shia....

Cut down on the goddamn humor and really flesh out some struggle for these sentient beings. If they do that, along with some Bay action, it would be really good.

But no.. Probably the same, just different actors and new dialog.

I doubt Megatron and Starcream will return, they'll probably use Galvatron with or without the unicron ties or maybe Jhiaxus.

Hated what they did to Shockwave in the third one, was expecting a highly deadly logic based killing machine who was feared by both Autobots and Decepticons but instead I got a transformer who sounded like he smoked 90 packs of cigarettes a day and did nothing relevant all in the movie.

Loved the first film. I was a kid again at the cinema. Instead of improving on the first films strong points, the second film goes ape-shit with all the retarded stuff. Third film is much better, more cohesive, tho the John Malcovich and Mr Chow comedy is over-the-top.

If Bay can suppress his need for exposed ass cheeks and fruity dudes in the restroom jokes, this new film could be good. His brand of humor really makes things excruciating. Just give the film a different tone and simple story.

Will Michael Bay try to outdo MOS or was the ridiculous levels of destruction too much even for the master of boom Michael Bay himself

Guess we'll have to wait til next year to see who gets that coveted crown lol

@Khan I agree. And it's the same with the Ninja Turtle whining. There isn't anything going on with Ninja Turtles. Just like Transformers, Bay took something NO ONE else wanted to touch and made it big and put in the public. Regardless of the flaws, it's miraculous that he was able to make films from something with a vague background and source material.

Bring on T4.

I hope these films drown in a giant [frick]ing lake. I hate NOTHING as much as I hate this pisstains on society and I will not change my view on that. These movies are the worst things to happen to cinema since it turned out Connor Macleod came from the planet Zeist.

@FrancisHates

I don't know I haven't read any of IDW work since about the time Ironhide died and Optimus turned over leadership. I do remember the little shit Hotrod causing the Autobots to split up and then teaming up with Swindle and then after, surprise surprise, Swindle betrays him he runs away with the Matrix to be killed by Megatron like the little shit he is. Has his character gotten any better I know he got better from a simple case of death and that again is leading a split off force of Autobots. I just want to know if they fixed his character at all.
NeoBaggins
NeoBaggins - 6/30/2013, 2:55 AM
@FrancisHates So, you're saying there shouldn't be any Transformer live-action movies, just books?
pesmerga44
pesmerga44 - 6/30/2013, 3:12 AM
@NeoBaggins

No but I along with Francis, I can only assume he/she would agree, want a Transformers movie about the Transformers and not some shrilly voiced screaming guy who goes through the same exact character arc every movie. His crap parents who are not funny but Bay thinks if we push them enough people will be forced to laugh. The American military doing 90% of the job for the Autobots. Also using women who can't act to be the main actresses in the movie because their hot.

What a concept wanting movies about the Transformers. I understand the first movie being from Shia's perspective since most audience members do not know the Transformers so they need to be introduced to them. After that movie it was time to push Shia's character aside and put the Transformers into the spotlight of the movie. Unfortunately Bay never got that memo and made Shia the focal point to every movie to the chagrin of Transformer fans.

pesmerga44 - 6/30/2013, 3:19 AM
OH also Bay [frick]ed Optimus Prime's character over so much in that third movie making go from crying on the ground begging for his life to Sentinel to going full on bloodthirsty murderer ripping Megatron's head off after Megatron calls for a truce. A long ways away from the ending of Transformers 1 where he solemnly tells Megatron's corpse "You left me no choice brother."

I cannot honestly believe how many people here in the comment section are ok with this! Bay's films are absolute garbage, yet still people go and buy the tickets for them. Disgusting. I'll be using my money for a much better robot/mech film with an actual talented director and actors behind it. Pacific Rim.
Ocelot
Ocelot - 6/30/2013, 4:22 AM
Bay's done reasonably well with the franchise and should be credited for somewhat reviving a declining franchise and mainly for translating the transformers from the comics and tv shows to live action successfully without it looking stupid, cheesy or fake, he's made them "cool" so to speak. They could have easily looked "stupid" or "ridiculous" However what the man needs next to him on these films is some [frick]ing capable writers who understand the transformers lore and characters not just Optimus and Bumblebee and an overseer to keep him in check to prevent abominations like the second film and from stupid decisions being made.

The only thing Bay should be in charge of is the designs, trailers and action set pieces, why? becauase he knows how to do it well and can sell it successfully, no matter how you dislike him it's hard to disagree with that. Plot, story, casting, characters, dialouge and direction is not his thing at all and he shouldn't have any influence on those whatsoever.
