Wonder Woman Screenplay With Fancast

Wonder Woman Screenplay With Fancast

I´m posting a Wonder Woman Script, I was writing. Hopefully it will give someone out there some joy. I should add my main influences for this screenplay was Batman Begins and Richard Donner´s original Superman. What I love about Batman Begins is the psychological realism of the story as well as the story arch of how young, lost Bruce becomes Batman. From Donner´s Superman, I felt the operatic scale of the story was amazing, its so iconic, in its treatment of the central figure. As such I was really inspired to create the Journey of Diana on an epic scale, which journeyed with Diana as she becomes Wonder Woman. This is not Wonder Woman as she´s ever been seen, yet I don´t think I could have been any more faithful to the source material than I have.

As you can see I´ve broken the script into four parts.

The first part unfortunately is not in script form as I was really just brain storming, but the idea just kept developing on and on so I couldn´t help writing it. The first part really covers Diana´s journey from a young, strange and adventurous Amazon, to a strong, virtuous, warrior with a mission.

The second part which is in script form, if you wish to skip ahead is her journey and discovery of mans world.

The third and fourth are where things really start to go down. Diana becomes Wonder Woman and faces her greatest foe Ares God Of War

I should add my main film influences for this screenplay was Batman Begins and Richard Donner´s original Superman. What I love about Batman Begins is the psychological realism of the story as well as the story arch of how young, lost Bruce becomes Batman. Just For Fun, I´ve though about all the important characters and how I would cast them:

The Heroes

Diana Alexandra Daddario

Your set up of this article is horrendous, and most the images didn't show up. Other than that, nice cast. And I would like for you to check out my fancast for Injustice: Gods Among Us to see my pick for Wonder Woman.

@doopie - To be honest dude, I´m struggling quite a bit at the moment with depression and not sure what to do with life. Started with my mom and dad dying over the past two years. Sorry to be heavy, but thats the way it goes.

If you have read or skimmed, I just want to know two things, which are important. What do you think of Diana and Ares as characters?

I really tried to make Ares as compelling and cool a character as The Joker in The Dark Knight. Best comic movie villain period. So I was not pulling punches with Ares. I wanted him to be unique and I wanted Diana and him to have very complimentary but different types of charisma. Glad you enjoyed what you´ve read, I did enjoy writing it, and its cheered me up just a little that you enjoyed what you´ve read so far. Thanks.

@doopie - thanks dude, means alot.

by the way that was exactly what i was going for with diana. I see her as wise, but very sheltered and niave about the. you know she is royalty and kind of has been spoiled and protected from crueler side of life. i kind of used ET as a model, accept if he was a bad ass warrior. As for Ares, it wasn´t really the joker i used, i just wanted him to be as iconic. my main inspiration for ww and ares relationship was clarice and hannibal lecter. he´s evil, a psychpath in the truest sense of the word. no compassion, remorse, or conscience, but along comes diana who will eventually challenge his whole belief structure, with her courage, compassion and pure heart and even though he´s evil he can´t help but admire her; there´s almost like a love or attraction. he´s fascinated by her. where as she starts off hell bent on killing him, only to discover only by understanding and compassion can she defeat him. so they come to have a really interesting relationship. in fact it is Ares who truly ends up being the catalyst for diana turning from a young girl bent on revenge and discovering her power and what she wants to be, to the iconic wonder woman we all know. thats why if i was casting for wondy in her first outing, her kind of ww begins, i would want someone early 20s, so we can see ww mature from a girl to a wonder woman. i think that is something that really gets missed in her character and why so many see her as too perfect and unrelatable, because the part of her story where she is struggling with her identity is always skipped. we always see her fully formed as the icon, rather than the part where she is becoming the icon, which is much more interesting and relatable to me in any superhero story. thanks again and i´ll try and lay off the booze, starting tomorrow :)

I saw the teaser and I was about ready to tear PredatorRising a new asshole. Then I saw it wasn't him but I read the script anyway.
Let me tell you something; that was one of the best smegging scripts I've ever seen on this site.

Suddenly there's been alot of great scripts coming in from people, it's pretty dope knowing how much talent there is on this site.

Sorry about your parents. I know it means alot less coming from strangers, but you know, things'll get better.
