I like the logo we currently have...

I applaud your efforts DCGuy.

I agree that fan-fic artists and writers deserve a bit more recognition (mainly because I am one), but I like the current logo too. And yes, that option of "Are you sure you want to leave" would be brilliant.

DCGuy will gain 12 user friends until one betrays and his account is crucified.

@DCGuy - Thanks for tagging me! I probably wouldn't have seen this post, or found that it had been deleted (I just restored it), without the tagging :o)

Here are my responses:

#1 - The fact of the matter is that I don't WANT it to be easy to insert images into the comments. It slows down the page load and, more importantly, almost always leads to a thread being hijacked by T&A pics, something that *most* users don't want to happen with their posts.

We do have the ability to edit comments, and it was active on the site in the past, and is still active for Master Admin, but I disabled it because user comments were being reported and then the user would edit his/her comment. I'm working on changing the reporting process, which would allow me to re-institute the comment editing feature...

#2 - You're actually the first user, that I'm aware of, that *doesn't* like the logo. With that being said, there IS a site redesign under way. The logo may change, but as with the last site redesign, there will be several options available for users to vote on and give feedback for.

#3 - This is a great idea. I'm working on a article creation wizard update. I'll see about including this.

#4 - This feedback/issue is a bit backwards... The "User Picks" ARE the user picks. First and foremost CBM is a breaking news, reviews, interviews and editorials site. Fan Fic has become very popular, but *most* people don't come to see the Fan Fic... I know this probably hurts the feelings of some, but that's just the way it is :o(

The good news is that Fan Fic CAN show up on the homepage, it just requires a few more votes. The better news is that there's something coming down the pipe that will give Fan Fic MUCH more exposure.

Note that the Editors have the ability to post directly to the homepage because they have a proven track record of contributing articles that people want to read. Love them or hate them, they give us the things we love, the things we hate and the things we fight about :o)

What Nate said. If you write well written, intriguing editorials, you'll make it to the front page.

Also, you're coming off a tad heavy handed proclaiming yourself "the Excellence of Editorials" and "one of the most beloved users of CBM.com". You've been a member since June 2014.

thank you for clearing that up, it's not that I don't like the logo its that I think we can have a better one that is all. As for the rest I understand your concerns again thank you.
