My first and favorite comic book hero, is Spider- Man. There is something about his stories, who he is and how he goes about his business that I have always loved. I owned all of the Nintendo, Sega Gensis and SNES video games and as many comics as I could get my hands on. I even love the movies, aside from the random dancing and "dark" Peter Parker scenes in 3. I am stoked for the fourth film and think, if they choose the right villain it will be great. I hope that Raimi is not dead set on a classic villain, because there are so many good ones to choose from. I personally am hoping that they choose "Kraven's Last Hunt" story line to be the story arch in the movie. If done right, would be amazing.

With IGN's Marvel E3 preview today, they are previewing Dark Reign: Sinister Spider-Man #1. If I am correct, this is following the events set forth in Dark Avengers #1, where Norman Osborn gives Venom a pill that allows him to change shape, to look exactly like Spider-Man. Is how the basis for the storyline for the Sinister Spider-Man. I love Venom just as much as Spider-Man, probably because he is one of the more perfect adversaries for Spider-man.

While Dark Avengers, alone, is slightly disappointing to this point. I am really starting to like the Dark Reign world that is forming. The thought that the heroes are now the "villains" and the villains are now the heroes is an awesome spin. I think that Sinister Spider-Man can be awesome. I just hope the development and depth move faster than Dark Avengers. What do you think?

My next post will be about Deadpool: Suicide Kings 1 and 2. If you have any other mini-series I should also look at let me know.

I just picked up the first 2 Dark Reign Hawkeye's today, so do not worry. When I post about them, they will not involve any story points. I saw "The Hood" today, is that worth checking out?
