Ok again this is not which company is better or who would win if all characters fought eachother. This is just if you put these 2 characters in a cage match where only one could leave who would be the victor.
Doomsday Vs. The Hulk
These two characters are very similar as far as ability and powers. I think though that Doomsday would win.

Doomsday:
Although he is not that well known he is one of the more prolific and scary comic villians. He is a creature who was created from an infant(he is a clone)that has evolved from being killed over and over again to become more resistant. He is a creature that becomes immune to whatever kills him before hand. He has very limited vital organs(eyes, brain, and nervous system) which are protected by bony spurs which also cover his hands, elbows, and knees to be used as weapons. He has an accelerated healing factor so good that he's been cut in his whole side by a plasma sword(used by superman) and it healed within moments. His genes have been spliced with supermans makin him genetically part kryptonian. He can also breathe fire and jump a distance of miles at a time. He has fought the justice league(with superman, and orion) being able to stand his ground almost effortlessly, and he's broken supermans arm easily and dominated Darkseid in physical combat.

Hulk:
Now we all know that Hulk is arguably the strongest marvel character. His power is pretty much limitless because the angrier he gets the stronger he gets. His healing/adaption factor is also dependant on his level of emotion in one situation he actually grew new tissue to allow him to breathe underwater. He can leap into earths lower orbit and can also survive sometime in space unprotected although he will have to breathe again at somepoint. He also has superhuman speed to match Thor's. He's survived nuclear explosions, planet splitting impacts, and inner solar temperatures, but even with all of that I don't think that he would be able to beat Doomsday seeing as how he really only has physical strength and no other powers where as Doomsday has withstood Darkseid's "Omega Effect" without any damage.

So there's my opinion and some facts about these two heavyweights let me know what you think in the comments

Sorry but like with Wolverine and Lobo I think you're wrong again! Remember, Superman eventually killed Doomsday - no one has been able to kill the Hulk! In Hulk: The End he actually gets eaten down to his skeleton by bugs but still regenerates! Can Doomsday do that? Nope! It would be a long battle but Doomsday would eventually fall to The Incredible Hulk!!!
SabretoothTiger
SabretoothTiger - 7/28/2009, 1:02 PM
ya you have good points but doomsday has been reduced to a skeleton by Imperiex and regenerated within months and i dont think that bugs would be able to eat doomsday

JoshWilding - 7/28/2009, 2:48 PM
SabertoothTiger: they werent normal bugs, lol! ;) Hulk would keep getting stronger with every punch that Dommsday throws - eventually Hulk would be able to tear Doomsday in half just like he does with Wolverine in the pic you posted!!
SabretoothTiger
SabretoothTiger - 7/28/2009, 2:53 PM
lol nah tea just wait i like marvel more im just goin with facts and how their powers are and doomsday would merge right back together if hulk could even get a hand on him oh and doomsday can cut through superman im pretty sure he would tear up hulk and i dont think that hulk could just punch him cause hes fought the whole justice league with no problem hulks strong but a punch can only go so far.
if you have any ideas of who i should do next id be glad to hear them
JoshWilding
JoshWilding - 7/28/2009, 3:07 PM
SabertoothTiger: lol, a punch would go REAL far when the Hulk eventually smashes Doomsday's head to pieces, lol! i really like the articles you do like this!

Iron Man vs Batman could be good or maybe Spider-Man vs Batman!

Hulk would win the first round. But Doomsday would evolve again to beat Hulk
StrangeCosmic
StrangeCosmic - 7/28/2009, 3:48 PM
I think a Batman vs. Black Panther fight would be epic.

Hulk > Doomsday eventually. It would be like Hulk vs Abomination. Doomsday would win at first but eventually, Hulk would overpower and kill Doomsday.
SlurpeeGuy
SlurpeeGuy - 7/28/2009, 4:49 PM
It depends on what you call a win. Hulk kills Doomsday. Is it over? If not Doomsday waits for Hulk to change to Banner and kills him.
Also depends on which Hulk: Savage Hulk, Mr. Fixit, Green Scar, Ultimate, Maestro...
Tobuttica
Tobuttica - 7/28/2009, 4:58 PM
I don't really think this fight would be viable at all. Neither character can we say "die" because of their healing factors and even though Hulk could kill Doomsday and he comes back immune, Hulk would just get madder because he'd have a harder time fighting Doomsday, hence becoming stronger and evolved beyond Dday's immunity. It would just go on forever and ever until Earth was mutilated and there'd be nothing to fight for. I think this would be when Doomsday realizes he's being an ahole for always wanting to kill and destroy that he and Hulk call a truce (Doomsday has evolved to have rational thought!) and travel the far reaches of space to find an intergalactic bar and maintain a state of drunkeness. Hulk will never transform back to Banner, because he's an angry drunk.

KEROSENE
KEROSENE - 7/28/2009, 5:58 PM
do any of you read dc at all??? doomsday's power is that when he dies, he comes back to life immune to whatever killed him. he can not die. that is his "power/ability". even though the fight would be epic and probably destoy earth, there is no way hulk could win. in the end, hulk is still human and mortal. doomsday was built, and designed to overcome with the specific ability of coming back to life. they took him to the end of time and put him into entropy and he still survived. by definition alone, doomsday will be around forever and continue to get stronger. the only thing that can difinitivly beat doomsday is himself if he decides to not fight and just walk away.

The Hulk. The "Me" Hulk. Not the smart Hulk. The "Me" Hulk would go on forever and ever until finally wins. Besides, another thing is the Doomsday, has unlimited strength, but even he would get tired. They could fight for months days years..but Hulk would win. But hey who knows. HEY SABRETOOTH TIGER? I love these DC VS MARVEL POSTS. I don't want to steal your DC VS MARVLE STORYLINE, but please DO A CAPTAIN AMERICA VERSUS BATMAN. Thank you.

Scorpioxfactor - 7/29/2009, 4:07 AM
I feel Cap totally got cheated. I mean he lost because of the flood the first time, fans voted the loss. Then in AVENGERS vs the JLA, Batman stopped Cap before he got his ashwhooping. I thought it was expertly done how Batman ended the fight and all. But I really wanted something. Anyway. That's my two cents.

ThunderCougarFalconBird - 7/29/2009, 4:51 AM
I'd have to side with Hulk on this. Yes Doomsday "becomes resistant to whatever kills him before hand" but that was only while his creator was cloning him. Once dead now he stays dead. Also, where did you get his origin info? Cos Doomsday IS Kryptonian. He was a Kryptonian child taken by a scientist to the "dark side" of the planet, left to fend for himself until he died then cloned. The process was repeated so many times his genetics "learned" from past lives and were partly spliced with the Kryptonian creatures, creating Doomsday.

The thing is that Doomsday, as strong as he is can now be beaten with no scientist alive to clone him again. The Hulk cannot be beaten by force as his strength and resilience only increases until he has destroyed his objective.
KEROSENE
KEROSENE - 7/29/2009, 9:05 AM
howlett@ that's not true. Doomsday's power became becasue he was cloned so many times that he evolved to be able to re-clone himself every time he dies. darwinism at it's finest.
TheMyth
TheMyth - 7/29/2009, 7:28 PM
The Hulk. If Supes can beat him, so can Hulk. The Hulk just gets bigger and stronger the angrier you make him. He'd rip Doomsday in half like a phonebook.
CaptainDeadpool
CaptainDeadpool - 7/29/2009, 7:40 PM
Doomsday is a pretty wicked villain but honestly...Hulk hands down
NoShow
NoShow - 8/21/2009, 10:27 PM
Hey Howlett. Where did YOU get your Doomsday Origin. Doomsday was created well before humanoid life on Krypton was even around. Anyway I say Doomsday wins. Sure Superman killed him, but he killed him by beating him in a fist fight. So unless the Hulk has some trick up his sleeve, it doesn't matter how long they fight because Hulk just won't be able to kill him. Hulk's only way to beat Doomsday is to kill him and the only way Hulk could kill him wouldn't work because he is already immune to that form of death.

here, they are both adaptable to any situation and they have both been dead, the diferences are that hulk's capacity for physical strength is potentially limitless due to the fact that the Hulk's strength increases proportionally with his level of great emotional stress, anger in particular, and The Hulk's body also has a gland that makes an "oxygenated per fluorocarbon emulsion", which creates pressure in the Hulk's lungs and effectively lets him breathe underwater and move quickly between varying depths without concerns about decompression or nitrogen narcosis, D.day however possesses extreme physical strength that, variable as it is, sometimes exceeds that of Superman, at one point enabling him to effortlessly stand his ground against the entire Justice League, including Superman and Orion but it has a limmit per "life" (if he gets killed, he returns more powerfull) He was able to break Superman's left arm with limited effort, as well as outmatch and beat Darkseid unconscious in physical combat and he is immensely resistant to heat, cold, and conventional damage, allowing him to survive on the most inhospitable worlds, or in the vacuum of space. they both have a highly accelerated healing factor that allows them to quickly regenerate from most damage so they are quite equally matched. and yes, D.day did fight the justice league all by himself but the Hulk fought the hole world and won (THE HOLE WORLD WITH ALL THE OTHER SUPER HEROES AND) and he has been able to overpower The Sentry who bassicly has the power of a thousand exploding suns. but D.day even managed to withstand Darkseid's full Omega-Effect (thats kind of like silver surfer's cosmic power capable of transmuting or erasing most objects and organisms from existence by dispersing molecules but the hulk has survived that too). so my conclusion is.............. they could fight forever but the Hulk has better chances to win
wamonde
wamonde - 9/14/2009, 6:22 PM
nad yes howlett, you are wrong about D.day origin,

First, I doubt anyone will see this bc im SO late to comment on it.
But... Doomsday would win, HANDS DOWN. And I will explain why.
I know that mostly everyone whose read this loves the hulk, judging from their reactions. However, Hulk would get destroyed.
Doomsday is not 'kind of' kryptonian. He IS Kryptonian. Doomsday was a kryptonian who was killed repeatedly for about a thousand years to be evolved into the ultimate killing machine. The last time they sent him out to be killed he nearly killed everything on the planet then turned on his makers and killed them. He was a juggernaut on Krypton. Then because of his physiology, his powers were amplified under yellow sun. He is the strongest thing in the DC Universe. He easily took down Darkseid, and the entire justice league on numerous occasions. He can't be killed by energy blasts, brute strength, OMEGA BEAMS, or practically anything anymore! Hulk only has brute strength.
Doomsday has impenetrable skin and bony protrusions strong and sharp enough to cut Superman. He would rip hulk to shreds. Hulk would get angrier, but all that does is increase his brute strength.
Superman shouldn't have even beat doomsday. The only reason superman did beat doomsday is because he's so stubborn he makes a mule look like a recovering junky! That and Superman is the very best at fighting with powers... he is the Batman of the powered community. And he used all of his abilities to win this. And as I said, Hulk has one ability, SuperStrength. (Don't get me wrong, I like the hulk ALLOT! I really do!)
Doomsday is faster, stronger, quicker, more invulnerable, and much more deadly than ANYONE in DC and Comics in general. Hell, You can't even disassemble him at an atomic level! I Dont think anyone reading this has any clue just how powerful Doomsday is, and clearly most haven't read much about Doomsday.
Doomsday has been reduced to a skeleton and fully regenerated. And he can't be reduced to skeleton again now because of that.
I've read Hulk, and I've read Doomsday comics. Sorry But Doomsday wins.

Hulk should def get his two bits of pain in on doomsday, but since he died last time he is no longer sentient and no longer knows what pain is. Pain won't affect him. The only things he knows are how to kill and how to survive. Hulk knows how to fight but they are on two different levels.

Thanks Sabertooth for the article!

i agree on some parts, mostly doomsday facts you sed, but thats not the only power the hulk has, when he gets angrier he gets stronger, and his healing factor improves as well as his resistance and even his intellect (see planet hulk and world war hulk)plus he is the WORLD BREAKER!!! and he resisted a concentrated radiation laser thingie pulse that destroyed all of manhattan and half of Brooklyn killing all supers there except for him (that happened in a "what if" but they didn't say the name of the laser, he was able to stop the juggernaut (who CANT be stopped once he stops charging) and in marvel zombies, even with his flesh rooting by the infection, he ate silver surfer (note that ss`s body is not flesh, but a strange metal aloe, i dont know to much about it but wolverine`s super sharped-super strong adamantium claws did nothing to it...... on the other hand i did a little research on DD and i found some comics about him that in fact prove him to be the ultimate life form (and thats a lot to say in dc multiverse) but i have reached the conclusion that if hulk, kills him, he returns stronger, hulk gets angrier and evolves (thats actually what he does) at that point, DD is not prepared to overpower this new hulk and the fight ends when the writers decide it ends with the winner they decide.......... the normal savage hulk would not have a chance, nor the grey one, nor rulk, im talking about the WWH (faster, stronger, better etc...) but he has only appeared once since he vanished in bruce's mind and it was in a "what if" so DD would probably win

Brezovsky - 3/23/2010, 4:52 PM
Dude there should be a macth with doomsday and onslaught. I'm a dc fan but i say that onslaught will win
Brezovsky

I think that the original Marvel vs dc comics was cheap and a waste of my money. they should made the battles more upscale, violent not just three pages and that"s it. maybe they could make a movie out of it? anybody with me

mongo2931 - 10/9/2010, 2:47 PM
I know that im hella late on this but i nhave 2 churp in on it!!!! DOOMSDAY VS HULK.... IS at least a tie, but u gotta lean towards DOOMSDAY slightly. If DD can only be killed the same way once, then he has already died by the strength of SUPERMAN!!!! SOOOO....OK, yes the HULK gets stronger the madder he gets and no one knows his limits, and let's say that Hulk does manage to kill DOOMSDAY, how many times can hulk continue to do this?? once? many? none? If HULK continues to kill DD, (DOUBTFUL),then u r also creating a more stronger fully regenerated DOOMSDAY everytime, who does not get tired! HULK does get tired at some point!!!Basically its the like the what came 1st question, the chicken or the egg??? DD wins on longevity and stamina, and total reincarnation... How mad can the HULK really get??? he'll get sooo mad at DOOMSDAY forever coming back alive that he'll implode or explode!!!!
