Ghostbusters Krisby Kreme

In celebration of today's release of Ghostbusters 30th and Ghostbusters II 25th Anniversary Editions on Blu-ray, Krispy Kreme has announced that they are introducing two marshmallow filled Ghostbusters-themed donuts for customers to enjoy.

The Ghostbusters donut will feature white icing, a green splat inspired by the film’s very own Slimer, and a “Ghostbusters” sugar piece. The Stay Puft Marshmallow donut will be adorned with white icing, the Marshmallow Man's face and a sugar hat.

A special box for a special donut.

“We are truly excited to collaborate with Sony Pictures in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the iconic ‘Ghostbusters’ brand,” said Dwayne Chambers, Krispy Kreme’s chief marketing and innovations officer. “And we are delighted to bring our fans two delicious, limited-edition treats that are as unique, creative and joyful as this beloved film franchise.”

Which decoration would you prefer?

These limited edition donuts will be available starting Sept. 29 through Oct. 31 at U.S. and Canada Krispy Kreme locations. You can preorder five dozen now at your local store.

I agree. At least the for the Ghostbuster one. The marshmallow filling in the Stay Puft one is a nice touch though.

Hell yeah it does! This one comment on another site said they weren't taking any more preorders at his local store. People love their donuts.

Fresh krispy kreme are the greatest pastries ever. Yummerica. Every so often I get them... 8 big donuts for breakfast. Washed down with a whipcream topped cup of hot chocolate. Awww. Mouth. Is. Watering. Must bite down on sponge.
