I want the chance to play Spider-Man

Not only is it my dream role, but I know I can do the character justice.

Hello,

My name is Sean Gestl, I am 18 years old, 5'9, and 125 lbs. I have studied acting for five years now and am currently majoring in performance theater at a major university on an acting scholarship. I have also been a comic fan for as long as I can remember. I know that Sony/Marvel plans to reboot the Spider-Man franchise and is currently looking for fresh, young talent. Peter Parker has always been my dream role and I would do whatever it takes to prepare for it and do the character justice!

Thank you for reading, please let me know what you think.

Sean,
You have the right size and age. If this is something you truly desire, then go for it. Not to sound too corny but sometimes its not the destination, its the road you travel on. When you go forward on this, keep us in the loop with a journal on your fansite.

Like everyone said, show us some of your work

Good Luck

Go for it. I can see you playing Parker a lot more than Toby McCrymyeyesout. Good luck to you. ^_^

InstigatorGIRL - "Toby McCrymyeyesout" LMFAO!

Gestlmutant - Serious kudos to you for the effort, but without a resume and the acting skills, Sony isn't going to look your way. Looks aren't everything (Tobey McGuire is a PERFECT example of that!) Do you have the experience? Post some vids so that we (and possibly they) can see your skill and commitment level. Who knows, maybe you could be the next Peter Parker...
