Man Cuts Off His Own Nose To Look More Like CAPTAIN AMERICA's 'Red Skull'

Yes, really. Taking body modification to a whole new level, 37-year-old Venezuelan Henry Damon had, among other things, part of his nose removed in an effort to resemble Captain America's nemesis, the Red Skull. Click on for more, but the images are pretty graphic.

We've seen some pretty extreme cases of body modification over the years (the cat lady, the Superman lookalike etc) but this fella takes the cake. Henry Damon is a 37-year-old husband and father, who is, by all accounts, "a physically and intellectually healthy person". Henry also happens to be a huge fan of Marvel supervillian the Red Skull -- so much so that he's gone and cut his f*cking nose off to look more like him.

Comic Book Fan Has Nose Chopped Off to Look Like Villain Red Skull

Apparently Mr. Damon (who now goes by the name Red Skull, obviously) has wanted to resemble the character for many years, and has also had subdermal implants, facial tattoos, and eye tattoos (ugh) in an effort to do so. I'm sure his friends and family are currently skating around the fact that after all that money and self-mutilation, he doesn't actually look much like Red Skull at all. I dunno, I guess we should just be thankful his favourite character wasn't Groot.
