There's a new superhero movie in the works for Netflix from director Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Alita: Battle Angel), it's nabbed Priyanka Chopra Jonas as its star.

According to Deadline, We Can Be Heroes will revolve around aliens who invade Earth in order to kidnap all of the planet's superheroes, forcing their children to team up to save their parents and the world.

No other details were provided, but this definitely sounds like it'll be a kid-friendly project more akin to Rodriguez's Spy Kids movies than some of his later work.

Chopra most recently appeared in comedy Isn’t It Romantic opposite Rebel Wilson, Liam Hemsworth and Adam DeVine, and will next star in and produce a film based on motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, The Sky Is Pink.

It sucks that Alita has to be associated with that #AlitaChallenge crap.

@MarvellousPORG - I'm in my 40's, so I had to look up "incels"...Why not just call them virgins? 🤔

The premise seems a bit interesting, sounds like spy-kids adapted to superheroes.

Isn't it Romantic is a truly awful movie, nobody should watch that film.

Stop trying to make her a thing. No one really cares for her, except a few people here and a whole bunch in India.

She can't really act so I'm not that interested anymore. Alita was cool, Rodriguez has a distinct style so this could be cool. I can't really stand watching Chopra in anything though.

@Feralwookiee - Emphasis is on the "in" part of incels: involuntary.

Someone could be a virgin by choice, and not all incels are virgins...but they damn sure aren't getting any now, despite wanting/trying to.

Sidenote: Can't reply to comments...doubt this one will even post.

@EskimoJ - But why would I care if someone else gets laid anyway? It just seems like an odd insult. Man, I'm getting old.

@Feralwookiee - Hey, I'm right there with you; the things that count as insults are beyond weird to me.

It really just reduces the opinions/arguments/complaints/cries/what-have-you of people -- often in anti-women/feminist circles or conversations -- into just bitter feelings over not getting any.

It's not like the people calling them incels actually care, they just know that the folks being insulted likely would...inside...like it challenges their manhood or something.

I dunno, I tend to just ignore them all anyway.
