DC may not be able to get properties like Superman or Wonder Woman in front of the camera, but there are a lot of titles in its roster that are being designated as potential big screen hits. The latest is Warren Ellis' "Red," which, according to Variety, will star Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman.

The comic, about a former black-ops CIA agent currently living in retirement who must deal with a high-tech assassin whose mission is to take him out, is being adapted by brothers Erich and Jon Hoeber. Producers are Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian, with Gregory Noveck serving as executive producer. Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman are attached to star, with, one would assume, Freeman playing the retired assassin, and Willis his opponent.

Anything with Morgan Freeman and Bruce Willis is gold, but Warren Ellis is my least favorite writer, comic book and otherwise, so Im not sure about this one. His dialogue is attrocious, but with Morgan Freeman spouting it, it might not sound so bad ;)

Bald, retired CIA killer named Paul Moses ( Bruce Willis ).
I bet Morgan is the one sending assassins after him. Not Bruce after Morgan. This comic was insane and drawn by Cully.
Only 3 issues I highly recommend it!
