To First or Fist? Let the Masses Speak!

Scorpioxfactor's thoughts on the "First" Fisting Debate.

Hey fellow CBMers!! I just wanted to lay out a few of my thoughts here about Fisting.

I am going start at where does it come from. When someone would post an article, someone would post first. At first it was fun for all involved from what I saw. Then people started to get sick of it. Someone eventually coined the phrase First to Fist ergo evolved into Fisting.

I still for one am completely entertained by the fact that people try to be post as quickly as possible to a freshly posted article. It creates competition and fun among the members here at this website.

On the other side of the coin though, some people who do this don't say anything about the article they post on which greatly annoys some readers.
It seems that it ended being so bad that the complainers got favored and the first posters starting getting deleted. Now it appears to me that people are delete happy.

Where do we go now? Well, I think if someone post's first, that's fine, but they would have to keep in mind that they would also need to make a comment about the article. Now it's a forum here and I don't want to see too much censorship, although I still believe we still need a little structure here too. If we police ourselves, it wouldn't give a reason for one of the editors to take action and start cracking down on us. Let's keep it fun!!

Finally, any of your thoughts good or bad on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Your Buddy,
Scorp X

I don't really care to be honest, although I believe I may be partially if not completely responsible for "first" evolving to "fist", let me explain...

Someone wrote an article (can't remember who or what) and tried to block the "first" comments by doing it himself. He wrote along the lines of "is it possible to fist yourself". Up to this moment "fist" had never been used so either this was a typo made all the more humurous by it's context or this is a seriously kinky individual! I was the first of many commentors to follow pointing out this error. It was only a day or two after this that I started noticing "fist" comments rather than "first".

So there it is. The (probable) birth of the "fist".

Starsapphire - "Fisting" is when a hand/fist is inserted in the vagina or anus as opposed to a penis (or other foreign objects). I tried to explain this as best as I could while still using medical terms for the private parts. Hope it doesn't get deleted.

@Ron - thanks for explaining the birth of "fisting". That was funny and educational all in one!

i actually think i was the one who first coined the term. Someone tried to say FIRST but they spelled it fist and i called them out and said "nobody likes a fister" it was a LONG time ago. but i'm pretty sure i was the one who came up with that lol just sayin

@bubbaDude Whats more funny than someone saying first is the people taking the time to complain! That stuff is funny to watch! People taking the time and making a post to flame on others for wasting a post space! Really?!

I never understood what was supposed to be the big deal about being first anyway. I mean who cares if your first? What does that mean? Whatsit good for?

It was somewhat cheesy and annoying back when some were making a contest out of it. But really that time seems to have passed now.

hardly aynone even does it any more

my two cents though. To me I think people see it as a lil competition between members at least thats what I get out of it across all types of forum boards. It doesnt bother me however, if i use it I dont try to just say first or fist and thats all. I usually read the article and leave an actual comment with first or fist sneaked up in the sentence somehow, given I am truely the first comment. I do not like deleters I think thats lame and annoying. Just skip over it, censorship is lame.
