Manganiello would make an awesome Conan - hopefully they'll be rebooting that again soon.

As for the Punisher, he'd be cooler in movies starring other Marvel heroes, otherwise it's just another flick featuring a pissed-off guy with a gun...

I'd prefer Jon Hamm, but Manganiello wouldn't be a bad Punisher. Hell I wouldn't mind if they brought Thomas Jane back, he was phenomenal.

While we're in the topic of Punisher, I finally got to see the 2004 film yesterday (I know, I'm very late). It was pretty decent, cheesy at times but Jane was perfect. I'll post a review tomorrow-ish.

OK, random slightly gay outburst aside: I wouldnt mind Joe in the role, but I'm sure there are better out there.

I'd prefer to see Jon Hamm as Jigsaw, have him as a gentleman mobster who becomes a brutal disfigured killing machine.

ill never understand why so many people want thomas jane back,that movie was terrible,boring and not very punisher at all,the only part i liked was the harry heck scene,id take dolph back before thomas jane,and war zone blows tom janes version out of the park,its the comic come to life!

I've never seen him act, but I feel like if an actor wants a role, looks the role, and has the acting chops to do it then go for it. The same situation applies to Isaiah Mustafa and Luke Cage, he fits the role perfectly and I feel like he would be perfect for the role in a Jessica Jones TV Show.

Hell, bring Barracuda to the big screen.
We need a villain to match Castle's strength.

However, the story is primarily set in Florida and let's face it, Hensleigh pretty much murdered that possibility.

I'm a fan of The Punisher, but honestly, I think it's time to give up the ghost when it comes to bringing Frank to the silver screen.

If they have someone like Goyer or the guy who wrote The Departed script, then this would work very well. He has the look and he's hardknock when he needs to be.

Dummy-fans and dummies in hollywood always want to put action before plot. That's why a Punisher movie will never work. Unless they get their minds from out their asses and draft someone with a GREAT script, not what's going to sell more. It'll sell big no matter what. Plot... Plot! PLOT!!
