THE PUNISHER Asks You To Read Between The Lines On The Latest Kickass Motion Poster

Marvel & Netflix have yet to reveal the series premiere date for The Punisher, but if we were to make an educated guess based on Netflix's upcoming release calendar, which only has two vacant weekends within the next eight weeks, well, then, it's looking increasingly likely that it'll arrive on November 10th - coincidentally also the start of Veteran's Day weekend.

Also, with David Fincher's Mindhunter and the second season of Stranger Things arriving on October 13 and October 27, respectively, it was always unlikely that Netflix would debut a third high-profile project during the same month. Regardless, with New York Comic-Con just around the corner, we can probably bet on getting some sort of official announcement next weekend.

Check out the latest motion poster below:

This has a chance to wipe away the bitter taste of the last few seasons they've given us.

This release date business is killing my hype. I'm glad all these shows essentially come to be, now 3 times a year, for what is free(kind of)-- it's quite the bargain. However, they need to market these shows better, and they need to find a way to make these shows better. I don't think I've hated ANY of them, and I actually have a really good feeling about Punisher, but can Loeb or someone remind us WHY we fell in love with the idea of these Netflix series in the first place?

Hopefully at New York comic con we hear some exciting announcements about the series' after Punisher as well. I think they need a morale boost after IF and Defenders, because, imo, it seems the movie division is kicking their ass in every way. All in all, the movies just seem to have their shit together, and they're in a less vulnerable position than the T.V. side because Feige has been at this significantly longer and they just have the budgetary resources to do the characters' justice.

RELEASE THE DAMN RELEASE DATE ALREADY!

I like the first reaction where someone claims to know the release date, but that the official punisher account implies that that isnt the case (20th of october)
