Denny's has released some of its Solo: A Star Wars Story tie-in promo material, and there's actually some great stuff here.

The commercial takes us into a very familiar cantina set-up, with two young actors standing in for Han and Lando as they indulge in a spot of Sabaac. While they call each other's bluff, we get a glimpse of some of the weird and wonderful new creatures that's be featured in the upcoming spin-off.

In addition, a set of trading cards provide new looks at Han and the rest of the main characters, while also allowing us to put names to some of those aliens.

Check out the cards below along with some images of the Solo-themed meals that are available. All proceeds from the trading cards go towards fighting child hunger. You can find out more HERE.

@SlowKnife - I feel like Moloch is the most overused random name across any universe or genre.

@SlowKnife - The design is irrelevant. What really caught my attention is that there is now a trooper for mud also. What are we playing at here? Are trooper types now as numerous as pokemon types?

@AzorAhai - Nah, props to design department, really neat design, but yeah, it's a bit overkill at this point, I know they need to sell toys, but still, it's getting ridiculous.

"Scissorpunch" and "Six Eyes". Someone was really channeling Lucas when they named those characters.

Am I the only one who hates that these new Star Wars movies aren't using familiar aliens?

There’s at least 1 twilek in Solo per the first trailer.

The commercial is kind of hilarious when taking into context.

- The kid playing Han Solo does not want a Han Solo card, he wants a Chewbacca card.
- The kid playing Lando does not want to give away his Chewbacca card and instead wants to give away his Han Solo card.

To put this in perspective, neither of the kids want to have a card of the main character in the movie xD

I still can't see this going over well with vetted fans

That kid makes for a more convincing Han than Alden Ehrenreich.

I'm interested in Thandie Newton's character - she was great in Westworld. Also, I will say that I like the costume designs from what I've seen from the trailers so far. Especially Q'ira.
