Whether you believe that Predators could kill aliens or that AVP and AVPR were good movies, you can not disagree that a movie about the planet of the Predators would be an amazing movie. Predators is about a group of humans that have to fight for survival on the alien planet.

Recently it was revealed that Daniel Trejo was going to be in this after Machete. This will be the second movie that Trejo does with Robert Rodriguez after Machete comes out. Rodriguez is producing this film and directing Machete. Another actor added to this movie is Walton Goggins(Shield). And when asked if Schwarzenegger would reprise his role he said that he would consider it.

Below is a list of the main characters.

* Royce: main character, a Steve McQueen-type

* Cuchillo (Trejo): a Mexican enforcer from a drug cartel who has twin uzi strapped to his back

* Nikolai: a frightening, Russian bear-of-a-man, armed with a four barrel, gas powered, rotary machine gun

* Isabelle: a tough-as-nails woman armed with a sniper rifle and speaks French

* Stans: A prisoner with a shaved head, a scorpion tattoo on his neck and armed with a prison-made knife

* Mombassa: An African member of the Sierra Leon death squad

* Hanso: a bad-ass Japanese Yakuza enforcer

* Edwin: a small unassuming man who is formerly one of FBI's most wanted

Another character not listed above is a man that was kidnapped by the Predators years ago and is now hiding to stay alive. A role that is rumored to be for Schwarzenegger, but that has yet to be confirmed. Predators comes out July 7th 2010.

I cant wait for this movie, and to see some production designs for the Predator homeworld.

Sounds good can't wait, and the character that is supposed to be the missing character I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be Dutch. I really Arnold comes back for the role.

i actually have met trejo. his wife is the neighborhood realestate agent and he helps her out putting up flyers and promotions. nice guy. anyway he's actually been in almost everything rodriguez has ever done includind desperado, dusk til dawn, spy kids{all of em}, grindhouse, etc. the list goes on.

this could be a good way to put in the schwartz!!! even if its cgi like they did in T4. i don't care what anybod says, that cgi rehash of old schwartz footage was better than the entire gi joe special effects combined. but i think if this is the role for the schwartz, they would need him to actually act in the movie, it sounds like too big a part to play smoke and mirror type camera tricks.

Watchtower31-This is not even close to the second movie that Danny Trejo has done with Robert Rodriguez. Planet Terror, Spy Kids 1, 2, & 3, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Desperado, and From Dusk Till Dawn are all RR movies featuring Danny Trejo. Dude, do some research before you post an article.

The list is crap. Why Hollywood thinks we need another stereotypical movie, where people from every background is required and everyone plays their stereotypical role and gets pwnd by another monster, is beyond me. These groups of people dont exist in reality, so forcing them into a movie where reality is a bonus makes it look exactly yhat...forced. The first Pred rocked for many reasons. One of which, imho, was that the group was believable. No Asian martial artist type, south/central American drug runner type, Russian bear type, etc.

Is Goggins the main character? the only characters that he seemingly could play are the main character and Edwin the meek guy.

I think the guy is a great actor and i loved his character on The Shield, but i truly don't think he is famous enough to be the lead in this movie.

This would be a great cast!

I have to admit that I'm not all too thrilled about the line up. Some top killers from numerous ethnic (world wide is the theme i guess) backgrounds are the best pick of the human race? Not to mention almost half of them depend on guns for their trade so what happens when they run out of ammo gunning down preds, birds, dogs, super preds oh my? They should have went with the best the world has too offer like special forces or russian spetnaz(sp?) Although, I'm sure half the hitman lined up have some sort of military background or awesome survival skills. I hope the yakuza guy is badass and Dutch makes some sort of return. Otherwise... just don't ruin the movie...

come guys, no one knows the story yet. how do we know the preds weren't taking specimens from all the different races on our planet?? that would actually make perfect sense.

and as far as the "racial stereotypes" go. lets face it, in asia, they teach martial arts more than anywhere in the world, even their military. is it that hard to believe that there would be an asian martial artist?? the "russian bear" type...russians are typically big people due to all the manual labor they do. the african thats part of the sierra leon death squad. would you rather it be "Joe, the unassuming black man??" quit the stupid complaints for gods sake, we're getting a new pred movie!

lol, thanks!! its like people forget that preds are only interested in people and races that are worthy of the hunt. it makes perfect sense for all these people to have certain skills.

unless these haters would rather see a movie about preds fighting humans that don't even know how to use a gun, lol. how fun would that be?

also, lets say they make a pred movie with no different races. like the preds just took all whites, or blacks, or asians. then people would say that robert rodriguez is racist. this is the best way to go.
