An Amazon (via Collider) listing for the Evolution: From Alien to Prometheus box set has revealed the special features which will be contained on the Blu-ray disc for Prometheus when it goes on sale later this year. With no official announcement, it's worth noting that the content on the discs may end up differing slightly to what is listed below. Disappointingly, there are only a measly 15 minutes worth of deleted and extended scenes, leading one to wonder whether the future might see the release of a director's cut containing an awful lot more of unused footage. Check out the listing below and sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!

"Giant Baby People: Why do the Engineers look like that?"
"Your Black Goo and You: So you've found a vile black goo. Here's the list of 68 possible things could happen."
"WTF Prometheus?!"
"Mmm, that's a Tasty burger: Why wasn't Samuel Jackson in this movie? He should be in everything."
"Do these pants make me look fat?: Seriously, this isn't a Bluray feature, I just want to know."

I'd settle for an explanation for why advanced aliens would leave primitive men directions to the planet where they are making weapons to eventually kill us off. Its not even their home planet!

Or even a reason why the last engineer felt he needed to try to steal the lone Prometheus escape-shuttle made for humans half his size when he had another ship on the planet that Shaw and David ended up taking instead?

Painfully average movie -- considering its pedigree.

Well I liked it, sometimes I like movies that raise more questions than answers. And Shaw's performance was amazing. 3D looked pretty good as well IMO

So many questions left, that commentary will be interesting by Mr. Scott.

Ceejay - He was not trying to steal the escape shuttle (that most likely was unflyable). He was trying to kill super Christian girl.

I really liked Prometheus, it was the perfect horror/sci-fi for me. I don't need every questioned answered as its fun to speculate and it leaves some substance to pass on to the sequel.

Ceejay, who says the Aliens left those directions, to me they looked like primitive people drawing them.

Also, the engineer was trying to kill Shaw, not steal her ship.

Equinox, Those Aliens were able to be birthed from a mutated Holloway and an infertile Shaw becuase it was a science fiction movie and shit like that tends to happen in the genre. The 'Engineers' obviously created that black gunk in order to have certain affects on humans, whether it worked exactly as it was intended or not is a mystery.

As for the all the questions without answers, that was done on purpose, it wasn't some sort of brain cramp on Lindleof's part.

Everyone would be prasing this movie if it was done by an indie or first time director. The only reason why peop[le are hating on this film is because the director is ridley scott. Which, in my mind, is completely justified.
