This is going to be an awesome film!

I feel as if Nolan got The Dark Knight Trilogy out of the way so that he could move on to films he has a more enthusiastic interest in.. Not saying that he wasn't when making the Batman movies but I read his wife gave him a bunch of crap.

Glad to see he's still making blockbusters! Can't wait to check this one out!

These are the kind of movies Nolan should stick too. I mean, I like two thirds of the Batman trilogy, but you can tell that it isn't Nolan's comfort zone. Sci fi is. I'm excited for this.

And if anyone doubts Matthew McCaunawhatever's acting ability, watch Mud. The dude is a beast of an actor when given something with more depth than a rom-com.

Nolan turned his back on CBM genre, why are you all posting his shit here?

Nolan is a pretencious asshole who thought his name was heaven that could sell anything.

WB: Can you construct a cinematic universe for us, we're starting with Superman.

Nolan: Just put my name on it and be lucky I let you all taste it.
AwesomeSauce
AwesomeSauce - 8/22/2013, 2:14 PM
WB: Zack Snyder said it was going to be the return of the KING.

Nolan: SHUT THE [frick] UP, I'm doing my space movie.

LOL
"Nolan is a pretencious asshole"
Says the guy with the James Cameron avatar
Oh btw, its pretentious

And like him or not, Nolan changed the way people view CBMs and created the highest rated CBM trilogy

Not quite sure what to make of this. Difficult to judge anything based on four set photos, but this intrigues me. I have no idea what to expect. When I think 'Christopher Nolan', I think 'psychological thriller', not 'sci-fi' - even films of his like The Prestige and Inception aren't really proper sci-fi films, they're thrillers first and foremost with a slight sci-fi twist. It will be very interesting to see him step further out of his comfort zone.

Great cast. Great director. Intriguing concept. Haters gonna hate.

Where are the sources to these comments about how Nolan feels about making the dark knight trilogy?

Sounds like complete bullshit to me. The man gives the same impression in every interview he does.

And Nolan shouldn't stick to anything. Let the dude do what he wants to. If it means making another comic book film, stay the [frick] out of his way.

@3DBitch[foo foo] HAHAHHAHAHA! GRAMUR POLIS!

@BATmaniac Damn did someone offend your family member? Get off Nolans nuts, maybe that's why I never could enjoy his greatness when you never let no one else latch on.

Nolan couldn't win an Oscar with HIS best movie so he left the genre. WB thought as you all did that his name was holy by attaching it to MoS.

Snyder: It's the return of the KING. HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

3DWitchHunt - 8/22/2013, 2:58 PM
What an assumption
I can just as easily say people knew him this whole time seeing as how he directed Memento and Insomnia

Not to mention, what does this have to do with people liking Nolan? Seems like it bothers you that people enjoy his films so much, and if thats the case, why come bitch in an article about a new film by-- wait for it, Nolan

Get off your high horse

@AwesomeSauce He made 3 Batman movies, and even produced a Superman movie as a parting gift. What more do you want? Should he just keep making CBMovies forever? That would be lame as hell.

That's not what I meant 3D. He had great movies before BB but a lot of you act like you knew about his resume or are experts in everything Nolan. Everyone was shitting bricks when Ledger was cast as the Joker and now there will be no joker like him before, said through a nolanite voice. Intestellar isn't a CBM unless it's his "real world shit" for Green Lantern.
