In a recent interview with Collider,  Chris Pratt says that the fourth installment to the Jurassic Park franchise will be awesome and just, that good, "Oh man, I just wrapped on it two days ago. They're still working for another few weeks. It is going to knock your socks off. It's gonna be so awesome, so awesome," He then told that he thinks the franchise is in good hands and tells how he thinks the fans will respond to the release of the film on June 12, 2015, "And to the long time fans of the franchise, it is in good hands. Colin is a huge fan, he is gonna deliver a movie that is worthy of the brand and I swear to you it is just gonna be so good I already know it. I can tell." How excited are you to see Jurassic World? Sound off below!

Jurassic World is an upcoming American science fiction adventure film and the fourth in the Jurassic Park film series. Progress on a fourth film has endured more than a decade of "development hell" since the release of Jurassic Park III in 2001. The film was initially given a release date of June 13, 2014, but production was temporarily halted due to a disagreement between writers and Universal Studios regarding the film's script and direction. Nonetheless, Jurassic World re-entered development and is now scheduled for theatrical release on June 12, 2015. Colin Trevorrow is directing the film, with Patrick Crowley and Frank Marshall producing. Derek Connolly and Trevorrow teamed up to write the script.

I think Chris Pratt is slowly but surely become the next Harrison Ford from what it looks like.
Who what of ever thought that years ago when he was in the movie Wanted, getting his teeth knocked out by Professor X

If this could be a tad better than Lost World, I will be ok with it.

I'm not expecting this movie to reach my insane goal, which is to be good as the first movie.

Also, I think Pratt is way more like a new Vince Vaughan than Harrison Ford. He has serious chops but will be in danger of getting stuck in comedies if he doesn't actually do like Ford and actively ensure he isn't typecast.

Awesome! So excited for this! But Chris does have some big shoes fill especially because he has to replacing that empty gap in my heart for not having Jeff and Sam in the movie. I am big Fan of JP so I can't wait to see this!

@ruadh well I think that's what he's trying to do with GoTG & Jurassic World no?

I've always thought he was funny but he definitely has potential to be a big star.. GoTG is a hit and if Jurassic is anywhere near as good he will be on his way.. He's enthusiastic about Star Lord and looks like he is genuinely enjoying every minute of it..

@hulkbusternyc, true....but Vaughan also did a Jurassic park. And he wasn't quite the same as Swingers, Dodgeball, or wedding crashers, but still was kinda the funny one.

Its tough though. Bill Murray had a few dramatic roles before finally accepted in Lost in Translation as a dramatic actor. Jim Carry never really got there, etc. And maybe Pratt isn't at that level, but I dunno. He was still "the funny one" even in a movie like zero dark thirty.
