Chris Pratt Offered The Lead Role In JURASSIC WORLD
From a Marvel galaxy to a Jurassic World, Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt is reportedly in talks for a role in the Jurassic Park 3D sequel - plus The Amazing Spider-Man's Irrfan Khan! Check it out!
It seems that Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn's confidence in Chris Pratt becoming the 'next big movie star' is coming to be true as the Star-Lord actor has been eyed for Jurassic World. According to The Wrap, Pratt is in "very early discussions" to play a lead character in Universal’s Jurassic Park sequel. However, if NBC's Parks and Recreation gets renewed for another season, his role on the TV series could cause scheduling issues. But if Pratt accepts, he'll join Ty Simpkins, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Robinson as well as Indian actor Irrfan Khan (The Amazing Spider-Man, Life of Pi), who's been offered a supporting role in the film. Anyhow, Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow, produced by Steven Spielberg, and is scheduled for release on June 12, 2015!
UPDATE: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bryce Dallas Howard's character is a "smart corporate scientist," while Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson will play her nephews. And Chris Pratt's role is "a rugged ex-military man," who Josh Brolin was initially in talks for. What do you think?
