San Diego Comic-Con is done and dusted for another year but there are still a few smaller slivers of news filtering through, and we have a couple of Godzilla: King of the Monsters updates for you guys.

First, Trailer Track's Anton Volkov has noticed that the highly-anticipated sequel has been given a slight title change for UK markets, where it will be known as "Godzilla II: King of the Monsters." Hardly a huge deal, but it does seem a little unnecessary.


We also have an officially released version of that awesome SDCC exclusive poster that accompanied the trailer. Christopher Shy's stunning artwork depicts the big fella locked in combat with the mighty three-headed monster, King Ghidorah.

Also did anyone hear that these will not be the only monsters in the film? The director recommended ppl watch the whole film series and to keep your eyes peeled. Also there are like 20 monarch bases around the world so I can’t wait to find out what else is out there!

@MrNegative - I just want to see a hint of a corporation making a mechanized version of Godzilla. Just like a in-the-corner-of-the-frame shot of a metal claw being created

@blackandyellow - agreed, I thought it was good but I wasn't blown away either. I will say though that Aquaman looks tight and how about Le'Veon last year here good riddance honestly he's a great back but some of these guys just aren't worth the pain in the ass they cause and he wants way too much money for a position that's barely used these days plus I think he has lost a step or two and he's always one marijuana cigarette away from being suspended again

@blitzburgh - We need Le'Veon though. He's the best RB in the league and he opens up so many possibilities for the passing game. I just don't think James Conner has what it takes to be a 3-down back, but hopefully he'll prove me wrong.

The trailer was a thing of beauty. The story made no damn sense to me though.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - basically an extremist eco terroist organization is threating to wake up or release the monsters in the hope of ending humanity as they see the human race as a “virus”. I’d say it’s your typical man is bad story but surprisingly this has never been done in the Godzilla film series. Sure aliens have sent down monsters and we’ve accidentally created them but have never truly had the power to just release them at will.
