Godzilla: King of the Monsters is set to be a considerably more epic adventure than its predecessor, and now some new details about what we should expect have been revealed.

We're going to see Godzilla and Mothra squaring off with Rodan and King Ghidorah, but those iconic monsters won't be the only threat facing the titular beast. Apparently, the movie will also feature a terrorist organisation that's searching for the Orca, a device that used to communicate with (and presumably control) the monstrous Titans.

It's said that Dr. Emma Russell (Vera Farmiga) and Madison (Millie Bobby Brown) will be kidnapped by this group, which definitely adds an unexpected layer to the upcoming sequel.

"[Monarch believes] that the mercenary group may be there and a whole chase ensues with Rodan, which is a really great sequence Mike has come up with in the movie," producer Alex Garcia explains. "The Monarch crew is in a craft they have called the Argo. Part of it is how do we do things with these creatures that we've not seen before, and just the idea of an aerial chase between this thing and all of these crafts is super exciting."

Charles Dance will more than likely be their leader, and that makes a whole lot of sense given how good he is at playing a bad guy.

The movie im looking forward to 2nd most after Endgame. Hope these plot details dont spoil everything for the movie. Can't freaking wait. After watching all those cheesy original Japanese movies, this is like a dream come true for me. Long live the King

Please, Don’t make a movie with Godzilla and King Kong fighting each other. If anything they should make a movie with Godzilla and King Kong coming together to protect the earth against other monsters!!
