ROR a few months back i posted what i thought to have been the genuine finished film a screen copy given to me by a member of the SAG it turns out J.J Abram's pulled another stunt (this movie had 8 aliens being transported to a new area 51 they escape from the train and the military had to hunt them down) I doubt this is the final version since the trailer shows hardly any of the scenes i saw...wish i still had it could be worth some $$$$...

Though, the creature's hand looks like Cloverfield's monster's hand.

That's the thing, all of Abram's creatures have a very similar look. Think Cloverfield mixed with that ice planet thing from Star Trek.. this wont be much different I'll bet.

I'm hoping it doesn't look too similar though, I would like something a wee bit different.

Ncreb, because it's considered an interest among the members and readers of this site. Think about it this way, why do you see anime, movies (that are completely unrelated to comics) at comic book conventions? Because of interest.

I've learned my lesson about ranking summer movies on my list to go see. Coincidentally, it was Abrams Star Trek that surprised me in 2009 and I was initially disinterested in it. There's no telling where this may fall on the list and potential is GREAT.

Thor is number 1 for me so far, followed by First Class and Pirates a distant last. but I'm anticipating Harry Potter to be the grand enchilada. But for all I know, it may be Green Lantern to blow my socks off. I just don't know. This is a sick summer for movies.
