While the full review embargo for CBS' Star Trek: Discovery doesn't lift until the show officially airs this Sunday, the upcoming science-fiction show had it's premiere yesterday and those fortunate enough to be present have taken to Twitter to give their impressions of the show's first 2 episodes.

These are but a few of the reactions strewn across Twitter in the wake of Star Trek: Discovery's premiere and they surely serves as a welcome relief to those who recieved the new show with some trepidation. It's particularly noteworthy that one says it's enough for them to go in on the controversial platform CBS All Access.

How the rest of the show holds up remains to be seen, hopefully with the pedigree behind the show quality is delivered but we'll find out when Star Trek: Discovery is officially released.

Star Trek: Discovery will air September 24, 2017 on CBS and CBS All Access and then every week after exclusively on CBS All Access in the US and on NETFLIX around the world.
