Oscar Isaac Confirms That's Him Piloting And X-Wing In The STAR WARS EPISODE VII Trailer

Most of us missed this on a first viewing, but in an interview promoting A Most Violent Year, X-Men: Apocalypse star Oscar Isaac confirms that it was him piloting that X-Wing in the Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens teaser and talks more about landing the role. Check it out!

So, that definitely was Oscar Isaac in the trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens then (well done if you were on of the few who spotted that early on). In the video above, the actor talks about the process of joining the cast of the movie - it didn't take J.J. Abrams long to pick him by the sound of it - and his excitement about being part of this project is clear to see. Hopefully we'll soon get to hear from Isaac about his next role as Apocalypse in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse!

Where has this doubt come from? I've seen multiple people say that Oscar wasn't in the trailer and now it's gotta be confirmed by the actor himself? His face is the screencap!

Wow, it seems as if this Isaac didn't even read for the role. He implied J.J. cast him two weeks after a phone conversation. Either J.J. was able to read Isaac's personality really over a phone call, or Disney knew Isaac was a hot up-and-coming actor and said "[frick] it".

@Melkaticox I would honestly like a confirmation on the Sith. They are my favorite characters(besides the emperor) in the SWU. Im just really hoping its not adam driver. I mean cool if they cover up his face and make him the new VADah than thats cool. but (POTENTIAL SPOLIERS)


he was in set pics as a rebel pilot and the leaks say hes force sensitive and turns to the darkside. So Thats what I want confirmed.

still crossing my fingers that its Gleeson whos the Sith He is becoming one of my favorite actors.
