This Saturday, Star Wars: The Clone Wars will air its 100th episode on the Cartoon Network. Not even Star Trek or Battlestar Galactica managed to reach this landmark number, making the achievement of the animated sci-fi show all the more notable. Its thought that the series will find a home on Disney XD now that the studio owns LucasFilm, but the show is celebrated rather nicely in the following five minute promo which was released via Entertainment Weekly. Unfortunately, there is no embed code, so you'll have to click on the image below to check it out.

Never watched it but it does look brilliant. Get the feeling some of this could be setting up for the new trilogy

Other than the first episode, this season has sucked. Still a good show, though.

''Not even Star Trek or Battlestar Galactica managed to reach this landmark''

Not going to argue against Battlestar Galactic but Star Trek has managed this, managed it many times and more.

The original Series was canceled but Star Trek the TNG, Deep Space Nine, Voyager all had around 178 episodes lasting 7 seasons.

Even Enterprise, which was canceled had 98 episodes.

So unless you were talking the original Series which didn't become popular until it was canceled and started doing re-runs your blowing smoke.

@Bazinga85 I totally agree with you. I have been watching sincethe beginning and this is definitely not their best season. They've spent a lot of time on boring three and four episode story arcs, and there've hardly been any episodes focused on Anakin or Padme. This season has been sort of 'meh.'

^^ Agreed. It took the show a while to get going, but the 3rd and especially 4th seasons were both awesome. This season has been terrible. But I'm gonna stick with it until they have the episodes they keep advertising where Maul and Savage Oppress go up against Sidious.

This season has been in my opinion up and down. I'd rather see a Bounty Hunter series or something featuring some of the stories after ROTJ
