Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker in the Original Star Wars Trilogy, is good friends (and even former roommate) with Robert Englund, best known for playing Freddy Krueger in the Nightmare on Elm Street series. At the Nashville Comic Expo, Englund let out in regards to exactly what Hamill is up to currently...
Mark now—they’ve got Mark in the gym, because Mark’s coming back as Luke Skywalker. They’ve got him doing his sit ups, said Englund.
A few months ago, a rumor was revealed that personal trainers were being hired for the "Big Three" so this story does make some sense.

Star Wars Episode VII (rumored subtitle to be "A New Dawn") is scheduled to be release 2015.

If there is one character they HAVE to bring back, it's Luke.

I can't wait for 2015.

if he wanna get back as Luke he's gotta hit the gym.
Russel Crowe said that during filming MOS he was not allowed to eat anything that wasn't provided by the studio. That was a part of his contract. They probably gave him personal trainer already.

Wish he could play the Vulture like in the Spectacular Spider-man cartoon.

Harrison Ford is already jacked for Expendables 3. I imagine Mark Hamill will go from looking like a tub of lard to a Chris Pratt esque physique.

@TheManfromMars

i think Robert is very underrated drama actor. He was really good in Red with Brian Cox. He just got stuck in horror movies.

i can see him taking Vulture role. Although i would probably cast him as Gregory Bestman.

I REALLY think Mark Hamill will impress a lot of people with his transformation!

He is...

THE CHOSEN ONE WHO WILL BRING BALANCE TO THE FORCE!

Or was that his dad??

@xfan320 I believe it was his dad because he was the one who through the Emperor (A.K.A Star Wars version of the Devil) down a bottomless pit of destruction.

As a personal trainer and a nerd this would be my dream job...of course I wouldn't be able to stop talking about star wars and the Joker. "All right Mark, 5 jump squats, oh hey, do you think that if you hadn't gone into that tree on dagobah that maybe you would have eventually fallen to the darkside??"
