After months of being labeled as the "Young Han Solo" movie, Lucasfilm and director Ron Howard have officially revealed the film's title - Solo: A Star Wars Story.
The title essentially confirms a previous rumor, which strongly suggested that the film would be titled Han Solo: A Star Wars Story, but it appears as though the production team decided to simplify it ever so slightly as they prepare to delve deeper than ever before into the fan-favorite smuggler's mysterious past.
Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Caesar!) will headline the cast, starring as the title character, and will be joined on his quest by Donald Glover (Spider-Man: Homecoming) as Lando Calrissian and Joonas Suotamo (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) as Chewbacca. Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Thandie Newton (Westworld), Woody Harrelson (War for the Planet of the Apes), Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Goodbye Christopher Robin), Clint Howard (Apollo 13), and Paul Bettany (Avengers: Infinity War) will also star.
