STAR WARS EPISODE VII Announcement Expected May 4th; Title Reveal May Wait Until Comic-Con
Rumour has it that Disney and Lucasfilm will FINALLY reveal at least some of the cast of Star Wars Episode VII on "Star Wars Day", a.k.a. May 4th. However, one source believes that - like Marvel - the studio will hold off on revealing the title until this year's San Diego Comic-Con...
It's been a frustrating year for Star Wars fans thanks to endless rumours and various actors alluding to being a part of J.J. Abrams' Episode VII. However, as expected, it appears as if there's a chance that we could indeed hear something a little more solid on Monday, May 4th. Disney boss Alan Horn has said that the cast is in place and the script is just about done, and with only around 18 months or so until release, an official synopsis of partial cast list is well overdue by now.
We're obviously going to have to wait and see if anything major is revealed eight days from now, but one reporter (see below) believes that the one thing which won't be revealed is the title. This makes a lot of sense, as Marvel certainly succeeded in building a lot of hype for their Captain America: The First Avenger sequel when they revealed that it would be called "The Winter Soldier" at the annual event a couple of years ago. What do you guys think?
