STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Concept Art Of New Helmet

New concept art has been leaked for J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens. But this time, we get a good close look at a new helmet previously unseen in the Star Wars universe. Warning, possible spoilers lie ahead.

According to Indie Revolver, this newly leaked helmet design to said to belong to the character of Kylo Ren. Not only that, it is also said to be one of the final production art pieces of Kylo Ren.

The flared dome is reminiscent of Vader’s, of course, and he wears it beneath a hood, not unlike the Emperor’s. The hood and cloak are ragged and tattered in many shots, but we have no way of knowing if that’s his style or if the events of the film leave him in rough shape. We’ve been told that the final helmet includes the scribed lines around his brow, but no longer colored in yellow. The facemask is removable – a trait which appears to be shared by some of the Episode VII troopers – which leaves Kylo more similar in appearance to his scenes with Vader’s helmet.

The website also went on to say that they are vigorously attempting to confirm a new rumor that Kylo Ren's lightsaber, in the beginning of the film, is the wampa lightsaber as seen in previously leaked concept art. If that is the case, it could indicate that his broadsword lightsaber, seen in the teaser, might be a Sith Relic; this would indeed support the "relic" rumors. It should also be noted that this piece of concept art closely resembles the leaked image of the four six-inch action figures seen earlier.

What do you think of the helmet? Personally, I love the design and am eagerly awaiting to see this beautiful piece on film. As always, leave your thoughts in the comments section below and let us know what you think.

Looks pretty cool, clear Vader influence, just hope it doesn't come across too much like an imitation. Considering Vader is arguably the most iconic villain in cinema, that's going to be difficult.

@markymark - probably got kicked off main cuz a main editor for this site stole it and places it in his own article. He did however send a link to this page. Fyi very ticky tacky editing (running this site) on Mark Cassidy IMO

Said main editor had another photo that showed ren close ups.
