We learned earlier this week that Disney is releasing a new teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens at 30 select theaters over this upcoming Thanksgiving weekend. However, multiple sites are now reporting that there are three different versions.
The first two variants of the teaser trailer are both expected to be 88 seconds in length and will be distributed randomly amongst the predetermined Regal/Edwards cinema's.
The third teaser is perhaps the most intriguing. It is reported to be only 60 seconds in length and will air on television during one of the NFL games on Thursday. Exactly which one of the three games it will be shown during on Thursday is unknown at this time, but odds are it will be the game shown in prime time (S.F. vs. SEA). Also, recent tweets by future Star Wars spin-off director Gary Whitta alluded to expect something big on television on Thursday and went so far as to speculate that the Jurassic World trailer was released earlier than planned due to not wanting to compete with the Episode VII teaser.
So, it seems like those whom do not live near the select theaters will still be able to get their Star Wars fix as dessert after their Thanksgiving dinner!
