Total Film have concluded their trilogy of interview vids, in which they ask various actors and directors about that galaxy far far away, and if they'd have any interest in appearing in J.J Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII. Wtch for some priceless reactions..

Obviously there aren't many actors that would turn down a role in a huge franchise like Star Wars, and even if they would they're unlikely to admit as much on camera! Still, Total Film's video interviews on that matter have been very entertaining to watch and this one is no different. In the vid below we hear from Bradley Cooper, Henry Cavill, Steve Carell, Alia Shawkat, Michael Cera, Sofia Coppola, Heather Graham, Justin Bartha, Amy Adams, Jeffrey Tambor, David Cross, Tony Hale, Ken Jeong, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, John Goodman, and Billy Crystal. Shannon's response? "I always liked Greedo because my favorite color was green. I'll play Greedo". He then suggests his Man Of Steel costar Anje Traue for the "new Princess Leia".

Circumcision performed with a lightsaber. Sign Billy up JJ the Star Wars needs fresh and innovated ideas like that. Shannon and Crystal gave the best answers. Also Antje Traue should be in everything! She so fine!

I like that a lot of these actors would like to be in Star Wars. I hope that some of them get some small-ish roles.

@yingyalmpalms You were probably watching a different movie. Because Into Darkness was great.

@Godzilafart Go watch episode 1 and 2 again, and then tell us it's only gonna get worse.

I would watch every single one of them in that movie, especially The Rock and Billy Crystal

I love how pretentious Henry comes across.

Like he's a seasoned, accomplished actor!
I'm sure he had to make sure the Man of Steel script was JUST RIGHT before he said yes.

@Godzillafart If Star Trek into Darkness was shit, then that must mean that most of the great movies of the past decade has been as well.

Say what you want about the plot holes (which just about every movie has) But that was a very enjoyable movie.

Arrested Development ones made me laugh. Billy Crystal as well.

I would love to see them go ahead and make a platoon of stormtroopers out of all these actors and stuff that are like "you kidding? id play a stormtrooper!" I think it would be good on the blu-ray extras to see them all take their masks off and just be like a bunch of A-listers lol.

@Yingyangpalms Star Trek episodes better than Into Darkness? Sounds like someones stuck into the past.

Wrath of Khan was great, but for this time and age Into Darkness was great as well.

They don't want this to be compared to Wrath of Khan, they want this to be a stand-alone movie, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

"Abrams has done nothing to prove hes an above average director"

Seriously? all he's done is make really good enjoyable films. Even Super 8 was good. Only a few directors can make a sci-fi movie that surrounds around little children and make it good, and Steven Spielberg is one of those directors.

Every movie he does has great acting in it. When I watch his movies, I never say to myself, that someone isn't acting very well at all.

All this Abrams hate sounds like people who don't like it when other people talk positively about his New Star Trek.

@Godzillafart "That is one of the silliest and logically flawed comments I've read in a very long time."

Then you must not look at the comments very often.

@BaneSmash That's the problem, it can't get worse. Can you seriously tell me that all of Abrams movies haven't been 1000x better than 1 and 2?!

And if the problem with STID was writing, then how can you have the same problem when Michael Arndt is writing the script?

Think Abrams is better suited to TV. I enjoy the Revolution show he does with Favreau but i actually began forgetting his first Trek film as i was still watching it. Didnt bother to go see the new one

The return of Star Wars needs to be memorable. Get some new blood in for the roles. As much as i enjoy many of these actors, Antje Traue has become like an overnight sensation. Make that happen with a few unknowns in the new Star Wars

Is this going to be very much focused on the continuation or is it going to be billed as a reboot of the franchise entitled Episode 7

Eps 1-3 felt almost like a bad Final Fantasy game.
It needs to go back to the roots of the gritty sci-fi genre rather than fun space adventure. Otherwise, it falls straight into the category of competing with GOTG from the year before

@Yingyangpalms Recently watched? Were you high when you watched them?

Some people pull the "hate" card in that way, I do not. I pull the "hate" card when someone tries to justify hating a film using comparisons to an old one.

The old Star Trek has witty humor and action in it, but it's justified because they are classic movies.

When a movie does that today, we criticize it for not being serious, or having too much action.

Khan's blood also saved that little girl, anyone complaining about that? I do wished they had just let Kirk died, the movie would've carried more weight that way. But I never said the movie was flawless, but no movie is really flawless.

If Into Darkness switched places with Trek 2, people wouldn't bash it.

@BaneSmash I remember seeing a dude get ripped up to shreds by plane blades in the first Cap movie, I remember seeing Coulson stabbed in the Avengers movie, I also saw people get blown to pieces in Iron Man 3.

Those movies may have a few kiddie moments...but they doesn't make them kid movies.
