Last night whilst appearing on Late Night with David Letterman. Samuel L. Jackson was asked if we'd be seeing him in more Star Wars films. Judging by his answer it's unlikely he'll be appearing in Episode VII, but what is interesting is that both Mark Hamill, and Ewan Mcgregor have told him that they haven't heard anything from J.J. Abrams yet. Could this mean we have an entirely new cast? Or are they just playing coy? Watch the video below to hear his full answer.

What do you all make of Samuel's answer?

I heard him say that maybe Mace landed somewhere in Episode 3 and then went into hiding like Yoda and Obi-Wan. I'd love to see him back.

If he is in the next movie Samuel has to be a lot older. Obi & Yoda are older in Star Wars. So you would have to do some work on him. I know young Obi & old Obi are played by two different character but you can clearly see that the movies take years apart from each other. So I want to see cracky old Mace. That is if he is in the movie.

I think the best way to bring back Samuel, and Ewan is to give them their own films set after Episode III. I'm not sure what they could do with Mace Windu, but they certainly could do a sci-fi western film set on tatooine following Obi Wan going into hiding.

I could see Mace still being around. Black don't crack! I'd also love it if Ahsoka was somehow frozen and could come back for the new trilogy.

They should somehow bring back Ewan. He's one of the good things brought to you by Episode 1-3.

I guess if Disney can bring back Agent Coulson, they can revive a one-armed Mace somehow. Would make ya wonder where he was when Luke and his pals were destroying not one but two Death Stars, though.

Time for Lucas to f*** with the OT yet again, and stick Mace in some background shots!
