Take A Sneak Peek Inside The Millennium Falcon Ride At Disney's STAR WARS: GALAXY'S EDGE

Take a good, long look because this will probably be the last time you get to see this view of the iconic Millennium Falcon without thousands of tourists and their selfie sticks roaming the corridors...

We still have a ways to go until the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, the new Star Wars themed land coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland park, but progress is being made and details are coming soon.

Disney recently shared a sneak peek look inside the Millennium Falcon attraction that'll be located in Galaxy's Edge. Along with the photo, Disney confirmed that details about this attraction will be shared on Saturday, December 16 during Star Wars: Galactic Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The Millennium Falcon is one of two attractions planned for Galaxy's Edge. Disney previously detailed the ride, which will give guests the opportunity to fly Han Solo's iconic ship.

The second attraction will give guests the opportunity to fly the Millennium Falcon, piloting the ship, shooting blasters or preparing for hyperspace – all while completing a critical mission. But how you perform on the mission holds even bigger stakes: perform with skill and you may earn extra galactic credits, while bringing the ship back banged up could put you on the list of a bounty hunter. End up on Harkos’s list and you may face a problem if you show up at the local cantina!

We'll hopefully find out more about the ride this weekend. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is set to open in 2019.

I was always perplexed by the MF layout as a kid; particularly where the gun turrets were positioned as to the rest of the ahip - the cockpit, the mess etc. It'd be great to get on board and get a sense of the dimensions

@RickGrimes - I just didnt like the choices they made with the characters. And too many cases of miscommunication driving the plot. There was lots to like but Im just dwelling on the bad stuff right now.
